The Space:
This modern and stylish apartment has been finished to a very high standard and features comfortable furnishings with modern fixtures and fittings. The floor to ceiling windows let natural light shine through the flat. The open plan living space features a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need to get creative with cooking from home, stylish sofas and SMART TV. You can also make use of the balcony with outdoor furniture - the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine! There is high speed broadband throughout the apartment. The spacious bedrooms feature comfortable beds with crisp hotel linen, full length windows and storage space for clothes. There are 2 modern bathrooms with showers (and 1 bath), toilets and sinks as well as complimentary toiletries and fresh towels for your use. You are also well placed to access the historic city walls, which you can walk around and get the best view of the city free of charge. There's also an Asda and a large Morrisions supermarket just around the corner from the apartment.
Getting Around:
Being so centrally located, most areas of the city are easily explored on foot. Should you wish to rest your legs there are bus routes that service the nearby main road, and local taxi services. The main York Train Station, with links to other UK cities, is around a 25 minute walk away, or a short taxi ride.

Pleasant apartment
It was a pleasant change to be welcomed in person when we arrived. The apartment was clean,comfortable and well-equipped. My only quibble was with the traffic noise as the bedrooms are close to the main road.
The apartment is only a15 minute walk to the centre of the city and there is a supermarket nearby. Ideal for a couple or two.

One window jammed in the open position. Door lock jammed by broken key. Both showers unable to produce anything except a scaldingly hot jet of water. Apart from that, everything fine.

Nice, but......
#31 has lovely private roof terrace w/ views, nice layout, two bd two ba. Good proximity to historic sites. Our property manager (Jordan) was responsive and patient with our requests, however he was unable to fix physical problems with this property. Major negatives: Lack of upkeep in general: the lift, the bin room were filthy. Mediocre cleaning in the unit, poorly supplied, broken shower tap made for scalding shower, bad matrices, broken shade in one bedroom, broken or loose toilet seat, and dirty area rugs. All of these are the owner's responsibility rather than the property managers, as stated, he did a fine job. The value wasn't here, we would not book it again.
