I use Millennium hotel sometimes for business trip to Wuxi. Room size is bigger than others under same level price. Also, there are various foods for breakfast buffet and foreigners can enjoy it. Downtown is located near the hotel and you can visit there and have fun and enjoy Chinese traditional massage. Staffs are kind and keep smiling to provide the best service. If you have chance to Visit Wuxi, please use this hotel.
Having stayed here for the past 2 years, its been a nightmare when aircondition is actually heater regardlessly. With feedbacks submitted numerous times, i have started to feel that they were simply thrown away. Even when temperarure set to 5 degrees, room's like an oven. Called reception in Dec, April, and now Mid May, its always pushed to the fact that its central airconditioning, and its never their fault. Wanting a 5 star hotel experience, sleeping beside a stand fan? Book right now. Ops. Fans are locked in warehouse afyer 11pm.
I always stayed at this hotel when I am in Wuxi. it is near my customers plant so it takes only 10mins to reach their plant. This hotel is close to many great Japanese restaurants. They got a very good one in-house too.
This hotel equipes the sanitary device "washlet" in each room. It's very helpful for people who have a habit. A convenient store for japanese groceries is located at just the basement. That's why I recommend for japanese business people.
I stayed here for 1 night on business trip. Normally, I stay in Suzhou but this hotel was more close to my last visit of business. I don't regret. This hotel clearly in "top 5*" for my minimum requirement of "soft sleeping", "fast internet", "international Film/TV channels" and "my preference for breakfast". Room (314) was more than average spacious with additional 2-sits sofa. Toilet room with separated bathtub and shower. All in all nothing to complain. Will stay here next time when in Wuxi.
Stayed in room 319 for a week while conducting business in Wuxi. A well appointed hotel with modern facilities and friendly staff. Gym is well equipped but not 24/7, opens at 6:30 weekdays and 08:00 weekends. My room was spacious with both a bath and shower. King size bed and a seating area plus work desk. Several restaurants to choose from and the breakfast buffet offered a diverse selection of food, minimal western but sufficient for those with a non-Asian pallet.
Have stayed here many times. It is consistent and very convenient to get to. It is outside the downtown core though. It's about 15-20 min can ride. The air conditioning in the rooms do take forever to cool the room and the best you will get is 24c if you keep it on for a day continuously. I have to usually jam some business cards in the entry key switch area to keep it on even when I am not in as otherwise it will never cool down. Breakfast buffet is good with good selection of Western, Japanese and Chinese. It is always the same and can get a little repetitive if there for a longer stay. The great thing about this hotel is you can go out the door and turn right and about a mile down the road is a large food and bar mall with anything you want to eat and can survive even if you speak no Chinese. Rooms are great and housekeeping is good. Room service food is so so. There is a few shops under the hotel where you can get staples if you want to keep in your room. Gym and pool are also great. Overall would recommend it if you are in the area. Price is very reasonable
Wuxi is a city with a lot of factories and companies facilities. This hotel is very good, big and clean rooms, good restaurants and mini markets to buy snacks, beverages and other basic stuffs. The location is around 15 minutes by car from airport and same distance to the main train station. Well trained and polite staff. I recommend you to stay here, 10 min walking from a good mall.
Hotel is nice, staff is friendly, breakfast offer many choices (as always in Asia), with indoor and outdoor sitting. A nice way to start the day Room was clean, and well furnished, with a little sofa area to rest. Bathroom is spacious with nice showers.
The rooms are good, with some minor wear. The service is good. Breakfast was not very elaborate, and the coffee was not good. But the espresso at the hotel cafe was good. It was easy to get a taxi, but the location is not central. The hotel has a large fitness center and pool. Near and inside the hotel are some Japanese restaurants as well as massage/spa.
