The Perfect Escape
We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect—just minutes from the breathtaking Schoodic Peninsula and nestled close to a charming downtown full of local shops and small-town character. The property itself was spotless and thoughtfully maintained. We loved winding down with board games in the cozy living area, and the fully loaded kitchen had everything we needed (and more!) to cook meals at home. The fire pit was a favorite for relaxing evenings under the stars. Truly a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home—we’d absolutely stay again!

Loved Winter Harbor, town has everything you need , without the craziness ofBar Harbor. Access to Schoodic and other small villages, just as pretty as Acadia.House was very nicely furnished and very clean.

Perfect house and location for us
Everything was great about this house. The host was so kind and gave some great recommendations. The location was perfect and we could easily walk to stores and restaurants. Would recommend to anyone. One note - there isn’t AC (not uncommon in New England) and we stayed during a heat wave, but the ocean breeze and ceiling fans did their job and we were very comfortable.

Wonderful place
Very much enjoyed our stay here in Winter Harbor. The home was very clean and comfortable. Our teenagers loved being able to walk to nearby coffee shops and the 5 and 10 general store. We also enjoyed the access to the ferry over to Bar Harbor and the Island Explorer busses into Acadia. No need to fight the traffic!

Beautiful home for a weekend stay!
I stayed here with 8 friends and we had a phenomenal time. The host was super welcoming, very communicative and accommodating for larger groups above all. The only thing I would suggest is perhaps having a tub mat for the upstairs bathroom. Other than that, I loved how well equipped the kitchen was and the laundry machines were a plus!
