I booked this suite to recover from jet lag after a transatlantic flight, thinking it would be quieter than a hotel.
Unfortunately, the flat has little in the way of sound insulation from the Alma street noise and the upstairs VRBO had a large family who thumped around.
There’s no indication in the listing this is below ground and stairs are involved, which I was trying to avoid. Also, it’s currently under some exterior refurbishment so workers are on site all day on the scaffolding.
The “courtyard” is a tiny concrete pad under that scaffolding surrounded by high walls, so that’s misleading as well.
The interior itself is fine; a decent kitchen, reasonable bed and high table for eating. It’s clean and the tea/coffee supplies were appreciated.
