There seemed to be many people living in this hotel, which led to a uncomfortable environment.
Hotel was nice but nothing like pictures on website
The hotel was inexpensive and a good value for the money. The room was as clean as it could be. It's an old motel and shows signs of wear. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly (although they didn't seem to be able to use the copier). The bad: the towels are paper thin, only one bath towel even though there were two guests, AC wouldn't go below 70 and the room smelled awful most likely because guests smoked in there.
Breakfast bar was ok, room was clean, staff was accommodating. When we arrived the first thing we saw was the pool being bulldozed-big disappointment. Furniture looked like they got it from the Salvation Army store but it was functional. We didn't pkan to spend much time in the room so it was fine. It was a good, inexpensive place to stay and that was what we wanted.
As we said, suitable accommodations. Brattleboro has a lot of things going on. Lots of good food.
Met my requirements for good value, but holes, chips, and duct tape on furniture was unsightly.
We have stayed here several times because it is conveniently located right off Rt 91 and is a halfway point for our frequent travel. It is a good value for the money...nothing fancy, but a clean room and includes breakfast!
room was clean lobby was playing loud muslim music.. but the people were distracted by it. then when they did notice me could not give me a receipt?? I was only there to sleep so it ws okay
No double queen beds, just 2 doubles in which every spring can be felt. Poor lighting, very tight parking, dirty pool, back window opens onto a shopping center.
Traveling with elderly parents can be difficult, but the staff was attentive and extremely helpful. There were very friendly too!
This is a great little hotel. The guy who owns it lives in a house out back. There was nothing wrong at all. No frills, but a clean room for the night.
Lousy room and not even cheap. Staff useless to fix non working WiFi.
My boyfriend and I adopted a puppy and were meeting up with transport early Sat am. We stayed at econo lodge Fri night as there was snow due in overnight. For what we needed, it was prefect. However, I certainly wouldn't choose to stay here ever again. The fridge in the room was broken and made a very loud noise, we turned it off. The bathroom was very small and a little sketchy. Overall, everything was outdated and old. Not the greatest experience but again, for what we needed, it worked.
That's all I ask for when traveling for work. Also it was quiet and clean. I could walk to 2 places to eat plus Dunkin Donuts for an evening coffee.
The bathroom was covered in black mold and mildew. The heater blew dust out when it was turned on. There were broken outlet covers and half attempts at repairs everywhere. The hotel general manager is also quite at treat to deal with. We were out of town and stuck staying there. They wouldn't give us a refund.
I guess you could say we got what we paid for. There was nothing outstanding about this place. It was a resonably priced (for this area) and was a good basic stay. The beds were unconfortable but other than that I have nothing to say good or bad.
The hotel is very nice. It is clean, centrally located and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My only complaint was that the soda vending machine was out of supplies. Since that is the only place guests can get a drink, that should be watched more closely.
Room was larger than many at this price, and clean and comfortable. Offfice staff was pleasant and helpful and the hot breakfast was a welcome way to start the day.
The Econo Lodge was fine. We had a little car trouble as we arrived and the staff was helpful in getting us information about who might be available to help us late on a Saturday afternoon, which was much appreciated. The accommodations were what you would hope to get for the price - clean rooms, clean bathrooms, cable and wifi worked. They allow pets, so it is a good place to stay if you want to go hiking with your dog. The "pet" rooms have a bit of an air freshener smell, but the non- pet rooms do not. All around I was happy with the place.
Motel is basic, as expected at this price range. Clean, functional, and breakfast a plus. The male owner isn't so friendly tho. Both myself, my wife, and at least three other pple who stayed there were yelled at because we were using the waffle machine "wrong" or taking too long toasting bread. As if it's our fault that the toaster is slow?
