Great cottage. Very quiet and clean. Convenient for the area. Easy access to all the lakes. Rained a lot during the week but didn’t stop us enjoying our holiday break. Fantastic break away with our Jack Russell! Pam was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely little bungalow, open plan with lots of space and brightness; garden was stunning and so peaceful as well. Windermere a 10-min walk away; great welcome guide with some good alternative walks into Bowness/Windermere/down to the lake. We only needed to put £1 into the electric meter (states needs £1 coins) all week so seems to be very energy efficient. We would definitely stay at the Farriers again, thank you.

Loved our stay in the cottage. Great location and facilities. I know it’s a tiny little quibble but it was quite difficult to make tea as the kitchen knives were so blunt we couldn’t chop the ingredients easily. Other than that there’s no negatives!
