This is an absolutely beautiful hotel with stunning views over Lake Windermere. Add in the lovely staff and the amazing food in Mizumi and you will struggle to find a better hotel anywhere in the UK. We will definitely be back.

Had a fantastic 3 night stay , from the moment we arrived we was greeted with lovely friendly staff, our room was on the lower floor, well equipped but I would book the room with private hut tub when we return. Absolutely loved it!

You really do pay for what you get. All of the staff from reception, bar staff and waiting on staff were extremely attentive, polite and professional. The hotel has a premium price tag yet everything there from side tables, lamps and mirrors are all premium. The decor is respectful to the original building yet they have also managed to make the hotel new. We drank in the bar, we ate in the restaurant, used the spa and booked treatments - it was exceptional. We arrived home today and plan on booking this hotel for over Christmas. We loved it!

Lovely hitel in an udeal location, 5 min walk to Windermere Kake and town center with plenty of shops and eateries. The spa is ideal after a busy day out to unwind in. Cosy small double room was also modern and comfy, and a good size. Complimentary Elemis toiletries in bathroom too. We ate at the restaurant onsite which was very enjoyable.
