Really clean & recently renovated. Price cannot be beat. Check-in very pleasant & efficient but ‘reception’ needs about 1/2 day of work to look finished. Many thx to the proprietor for running an old fashioned type of motel that is simply an excellent value. Recommend!
We usually stick with chains but thought we'd give this a try due to high ratings. We were surprised to find our room looking nearly new. This was one of the cleanest rooms we've ever stayed in and expected to smell fresh paint from the looks of it. Being single story our stay was exceptionally quiet. TV had been unplugged by the last guest but manager came immediately and fixed it. Such a pleasant, restful night with a great price to boot. We'll be back.
Staff is very accommodating and kind. This was my 3rd night staying here and I’ll definitely be back. Couldn’t be happier especially for the price!

Great place to stay for the night, especially for the price. The grounds were clean, the outdoor seating was great, and the bed was comfortable. This wasn't a huge problem for me, but the showers are not full size and there is zero cell phone reception here, the latter not being the fault of then motel. I'd stay again for sure.
Motel was in a great area. Really pretty-looking meadow right next to it. Room was very clean, bed was really comfortable. Best sleep I had on my trip.
Extremely clean room. This is not a high end room, but I would not expect that for what I paid. The room was clean, well appointed, and all of the furniture was in great shape. I was very pleased.

I needed a place to stay that was reasonably priced. I feel like I landed a treasure! Clean, quiet, and very comfortable!

The expression “you get what you pay for” is totally accurate here. I haven’t paid $65 for a hotel for many years, but decided to do this for one night. The place has old fashioned dark paneling, and is very dark in the room I stayed in (and, I presume, the others), but there was a little refrigerator, a microwave, and extra plug in the lamp, and is quiet as long as the other tenants are quiet, since it’s out on a country road but not on the road itself. So, it’s a definite step up from camping, and the way to go if you don’t want to spend much!
This motel did not look anything like it's pictures!! Rooms were run down and bathroom was out dated and were made for little people (toilet was so low to the floor..) There was huge scuff marks on ALL the walls!! Barely any room to move around as the beds were so close to the dresser! You could see where they cleaned most of the stains off of the small couch. Both microwave and small fridge smelled very strongly of Lysol I wouldn't use them as I was afraid the smell would seep into my food. One bed had a bent leg so the bed was very wobbly! I did bring all of this up to the girl at the desk before leaving. She was pleasant about it and said she would tell her boss...However she did not bother to write anything down so I doubt she did!
