One night is plenty

The front desk guy Andy was great. Very friendly. The property is clean and about 5 years newly renovated. Pool was clean. We stay there when the owner’s other property’s are booked or priced out of our range. Love them all

Andy was so helpful and encouraging! The hotel was adorable! Not enough parking space for the amount of guests in the hotel. Overall, very nice hotel.❤️

Room and staff were nice.

The property closeness to the Boardwalk and Convention Center was a great plus for my time at the hotel.

This was our 2nd time staying at the Wildwood Inn, and we have no regrets! 2 years ago we stayed for Roar to Shore weekend and found our room with a King bed (3rd floor) to be comfortable, clean, and cool, just what we needed! We just returned back from the Wildwood Inn, and I can't believe some of the reviews I seen here! Yes, it is true that this a no-frills motel and the rooms are VERY small, but considering they are clean & comfortable, I have no complaints. This time around we did stay on the 4th floor, and while we didn't love the walk-up, it certainly wasn't a deal breaker. The room we had this time was smaller than the last one, but I loved the big King bed and big shower, and since we basically just used the room to sleep and shower, it was perfectly fine for the price. This motel is close to the beach/boardwalk, and is a huge selling point. Breakfast isn't anything special, but has the necessities and since we love to try local places anyway (Uncle Bill's & Bonnaro's!), we only used it for coffee & muffins before the beach. Pool is small, but fine. Parking isn't ideal but we rarely need to use the car and the staff are happy to help move cars when needed. The only real downside for me at this hotel were that the walls are thin, so the noisy family up at 7am woke me up frequently. The AC turning on & off was slightly irritating also. Overall, I definitely recommend this motel to others. Rates can get high, but if you get a good price here, don't pass it up!

This inn was disappointing from the moment we drive up to it. The parking situation was not clearly explained on the website. We did not know that we would have to give up our car keys if we parked in a certain area. When we went into the room it looked three times smaller compared to the pictures online. Also the bed was much smaller too. The room smelled like chlorine bleach and the smell never dissipated. The bathroom was dirty and the shower curtain was disgusting. We immediately voiced our concerns and the guy at the front desk simply said sorry. It sounded like he apologized for this place constantly. Fortunately, the "maintenance" guy, I'm not sure if his title, was extremely nice. He promptly brought up more towels and fixed the tv when asked. The AC was a window unit and kept the room cold. We also quickly found out when trying to sleep that you can hear everything from outside noise to the rooms next to, above, and below. Stay here at your own discretion.

Room was very small, parking sucks because you get blocked in, there's no elevator, and it's in a trashy area.

Close to beach pool wasn’t as clean as it could be

My family and I decided to take an unexpected trip to the beach this weekend. Since it was last minute there were very few hotels, I found the wildwood inn and from reading the reviews I was a bit nervous but decided to try them out anywaysm. I'm glad I did! This was a very nice 'inn' very friendly staff, our room was very cozy and the breakfast good. It was perfect for what we wanted, close to the beach and restaurants and I enjoyed our stay and will definitely be going back.

1. When first arriving at the inn, I was greeted by the heavy smell of marijuana wafting through the office (some disobedient guest were to blame, but I'd bet their bathroom exhaust fan was also non-functioning) 2. Loud window air conditioner 3. Blood stain (I think) on towel. 4. Broken bathroom door handle 5. Broken exhaust fan 6. Broken bathroom door hanger 7. Broken toilet seat

Hotel needs updating. Room was dark. Breakfast was ok. Not much parking. Kristi at the desk was friendly & helpful. Within walking distance to restaurants & boardwalk, but for one night, last minute it was ok

We had a pretty small room since the king sized bed took up most of it, but for 2 people only staying for a couple of days it worked out alright. Everything was clean, but it's definitely dated. When we checked out I had brought down the "do not disturb" sign not knowing I was supposed to leave it in the room and one of the staff there was like "Oh, I don't need that" pretty sternly which I don't think was needed, could have just left it alone, it's not like I was about to go back upstairs and put it back in the room. Otherwise it was a nice stay and I'd consider staying again. Would have been nice if they had an elevator since the walk up and down the stairs was a bit tedious.

It was a small room but at least it was clean. Close to the convention center. A more modern motel then the doo wop motels wildwood is known for. It was decent, not wonderful or terrible. Average. Problem free. What more could you want?

The hotel was updated and beautiful. The staff was amazing, the room was spotless. But the air conditioning in the window of our 4th floor room did not cool the room down enough. We ended up checking out late at night, unable to sleep on the heat, and drove the two hours home. Would stay again but request a room that wasn't on the top floor.

Overall good stay for what you pay. Window AC unit was a little temperamental. Noticed a few ants crawling in the room. Found one or two in the bed. But overall, facility was nice and quiet, updated bedrooms and bathrooms, good water pressure and good hot water system in the showers.

The maid did not knock and attempted to barge in twice. No fridge as promised. No clock. TV not in a convenient place and pool disgusting.

Disgusting - pool unclean-cloudy; no elevator; uneven stairs; 4th floor room facing western sun with a rotten out window with a barely working a/c unit, other window rotted out, shades do not fit windows, outside air/elements/bugs come into room as windows are not sealed; bathroom door would not close; rooms not attended to in a timely fashion, beds will not be made up or refreshed; possibility of getting clean towels. Needs ALOT of work... price is way to high for the product you receive. There is not a tennis court nor a kiddy pool on the premise. Could not wait to continue our family vacation in a city that was more accommodating. Unfortunately, it was out 1st trip to the Jersey Shores, wildwood specifically. Will not return

This motel has been recently purchased by new owners and is being renovated. There are still some signs of ongoing renovation, however, for the most part the property is clean, bright, and freshly painted. The staff was friendly and accommodating; they allowed me to check in early and upgraded me to a king room instead of a queen. My room had a window air conditioner and a small refrigerator, and was very comfortable. There are no elevators in this hotel, so be aware if you're on the 4th floor (like I was). The second floor deck and common room with pool table were very nice additions, and the pool looked clean (though we didn't use it). The continental breakfast is VERY basic, so you may want to make other plans for breakfast. Otherwise we were very pleased with our stay and would probably stay again.
