We all know part of Wildwood’s charm is maintaining a vintage/quaint look. Nothing modern or fancy. However, our room was substandard. The shower leaked and the bathroom floor was always wet. The towels provided were thinner than thin and well used. The property is not well maintained. I expected better but was very disappointed.

The worst hotel I had ever been. Very rude front desk staff. Arrived at 2:45pm, politely asked front desk to check in, I was told I had to pay $35 to check in..it is crap! The hotel has no any level service. Second day around 8:30am when I was still in dream, the emergency alert burst out with recording broadcast "an emergency reported, all customers need to be evacuated, not using elevator". People had rushed out, many elders struggled to walk down for highrise building, when you walked down, no any staff, there was emergency. I asked the front desk manager, she said she was not aware of any emergency alert, nobody knew anything, OMG, it was a total scam... When I checked the terrible hotel, they charged me $35 resort fee, but my reservation shows $28.

We liked Happy Hector and Marco the owner was very accommodating. What we didn't like was the pool had debris floating and needed some attention, perhaps it was because of the time of the year.
