Beautiful ranch; beautiful animals, and more importantly beautiful hardworking people! People that are as fresh and pleasant as the mornings are at the Lonesome Dove Ranch. The serene mornings with the animals around, the fresh smell of the grass and trees, the scent of their delicious coffee, the bacon, the eggs and the joy you sense from just being there are all priceless and hard to be found in other ranches and definitely not in a hotel or a regular B&B. Speak to Hal if you can. You’ll be treated to a bundle of humor, intelligence and true human kindness. Sharron can run a country with her energy not only a ranch. Becky’s joyful laugh and positive energy are contagious and would leave you smiling. Wish we had more than 5 days. Sure we’ll be back :)

Great experience. Stayed in a teepee on the ranch. Saw buffalo and cattle in person. Horses are available for riding. Will be back.

This was our second visit to Lonesome Dove! Just as our visit in 2018, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay here. We stayed in the main house in a very comfortable room with a king size bed. The ranch is located about a 10 to 15 minute ride from the center of Kalispell up in the scenic hills. They also have a cabin and teepees. They have many horses to rent. They also provide a wonderful breakfast in their very attractive dining room with huckleberry flat cakes as one of their specialties. The ranch also have two resident bisons and a cute little shop that has a large selection of local homemade food specialties that concentrate on huckleberries. The owners and their staff are very hospitable and aim to please. Great value!

Loved the Ranch. The kids thought the walled tent was awesome, the many animals were so fun to see/feed and the breakfast was great!

We really enjoyed our visit with Sharon and Randy. The are such nice wonderful people. I think navagating the new covid restrivtions has been a challange.

Wish to have heater/fire place in a tipi. Otherwise really enjoyed my stay there!!!

We stayed in the Woodrow cabin for 3 nights, it was super cute and clean. I love all the animals on the ranch and all of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I wish we had a chance to eat the breakfast more but we woke up early everyday to visit Glacier National Park. Our last day at the ranch we had the breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend to anyone and would love to stay again.

This property was everything I expected and I think maybe more I would highly recommend this to anybody it was very accommodating the staff was excellent and the owners were wonderful

I enjoyed the peaceful location and seeing all the different animals. Experiencing sleeping in a tipi was wonderful. And to top it all off the staff was great.

We really enjoyed our stay, sleeping in a tee-pee and also have supper in the restaurant on premises, excellent host, wait staff and FOOD !!!! We enjoyed our tee-pee and wandering the grounds viewing the horses, bison, chickens, cows, dog and cats. Very relaxing. I'd recommend it. They also have many products that they make, seasonings, jam, baked ingredients, to name a few.

First I called to say we would be arriving late. I was greeted on the phone by an extremely kind staff member who quickly made arrangements to pick up our key since it was after check-in. The cabin was so cute and spacious...which was surprising compared to the outside.. My two teens couldn't wait to sleep in the loft. Our beds were comfortable and we all slept so good. There was excellent wifi available, small fridge and microwave. There was also a small window air conditioning unit that kept the place nice a cool. The breakfast in the morning...oh my stars... delicious!! Staff was so friendly and helpful as we made plans for the day. They make and sell there own baking mixes, jams, and syrups... which made excellent gifts for friends at home. I was very pleased with our stay and our children spent most of the evening playing and petting the horses. * We did not take a trail ride but I'm sure it would have been fun*. This is not a hotel..it is a working ranch. It is dusty and there are animals but honestly one of the best parts of our sleeping accommodations on our trip. Thank you for all your hard work.

Great stay; very helpful and accommodating staff. Fabulous ranch atmosphere with an outstanding breakfast, definitely the best so far during my travels the past 3 weeks. Look forward to a longer stay in the near future.

Shadi, how kind of you. You and your wife were wonderful to host and we are so happy you enjoyed yourselves. Gettting into the ranch life can be difficult for some, especially living in the city, but you fit right in! Everyone read your review and it makes up for those that can't see the simplicity and beauty of our live. Please come back!

Thank you for your wonderful review. I wish we could put a heater in the tipis, especially next month. If you have any safe suggestions for them, I am certainly open to it. Our best from the Ranch!
