The gentleman who checked me in was very gracious and helpful when I arrived. I had booked only a half hour earlier online and didn’t realize the date was wrong. I found myself unexpectedly needing overnight accommodations and arrived a bit discombobulated. He was very nice, figured it all out and had me checked in fairly quickly. When I visited the bistro area the cook/server was another very friendly and accommodating individual. Beyond that, the room was clean and fresh smelling. The temperature was just right - an unusual thing in a hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room on the 1st floor had a doorwall to our patio with two chairs and led to the large patio with seating and a bonfire going. Our room was tastefully decorated, very clean and comfortable with the sectional with ottoman. Bed was comfy. Liked that the shower and toilet were separate from the sink area.

The rooms are very dark; there are lamps for task lighting but overall effect is dark. Although the hotel has remodeled the lobby area & exterior, our room still had an old bathtub. Premium price for medium quality.

Our stay was fine in a clean room. The only thing I want to mention is the room rate was $302 for one night and they charged $10 extra to park our car. I have never stayed in a hotel that charged me extra to park my car. I found this very unfair especially at the high room rate.

Poor choice. Drive a few extra miles.

Only hotel in Rye so I booked it. How bad can a Courtyard be? The answer is pretty bad. Extremely run down. Horrible showers. And a train that runs next to the back part of hotel all night. I’m guessing it’s not corporate owned.

I was given a dog friendly room but apparently the only one that did not have a door opening onto the courtyard. This mean in the middle of the night I had too walk my puppy down the corridor to gain access to the courtyard. I got less sleep than I would have liked. For a hefty fee you tolerated the pet but did not leave out food and water bowls or an easy to clean (tile) surface for feeding them
