Walter Dam, Natural Lands' Bear Creek Preserve, Hickory Run Boulder Field, Mohegan Sun Arena At Casey Plaza, Camelback Mountain Resort,Mohegan casino and Blue Mountain Resort.

As soon as you enter, you will be greeted by a modern interior with high ceilings and a well-furnished open floor plan. Spread out comfortably on the inviting sofa and get ready for a relaxing and entertaining evening at home streaming shows and movies on the smart TV while the wood fireplace keeps you all nice and warm. Equipped with all stainless steel appliances and two coffee makers (drip and Keurig), the well-appointed kitchen has everything you need to whip up delicious treats and homemade meals for the crew. The deck is furnished with an outdoor dining table so you can enjoy your meals alfresco. The first floor hosts one bedroom while the lofted area upstairs offers another sleeping area with a bunk bed and a smart TV. Additional perks include a stacked washer/dryer.

Things to Know
There are no free access passes to Big Boulder Lake Club included with this home. If you opt to visit the lake club, day passes can be purchased for $25/per day. To purchase the passes, tell the front desk of the club where you are staying.
This retreat is ski-in/ski-out only when there is enough snow to ski from the door to the slopes.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Lovely Townhome and Location

This townhome is just as it is listed. It is comfortable and well furnished. My only comments are that one additional 10-12 inch fry pan would be nice. Also the A/C is the portable type which would keep the unit cool but the duct to the outside is 4 inch and the hose from the unit is 6 inch so an adapter is needed to make them more efficient.

Floors were all quite dirty. Lots of spiders, dead and alive. Should have a shower mat in tub. Very slippery. Supply a hair dryer. Stock a few basic spices, like salt and pepper. Frying pans were dirty when we got there, and are also poor quality! Everything sticks. Cooking utensils were slim pickings. Porch and furniture was dirty, and unfortunately, of no fault of yours, the mosquitos were awful, so there was no enjoying the outside.

Vacasa comes up short as a management company

1. Inaccurate listing in VRBO regarding air conditioning and deadbolt. 2. Filthy corners, dirty floors, shower faucet a pain, door access pad a pain, chipped china, FILTHY GROSS shower curtain liner. All dining spaces were high tops and there is no assist bar in the shower. 3. Vacasa directly lied to me when I asked if there was air conditioni g in every room. Consequently, my partner slept poorly 3/4 nights due to the heat and humidity. Livingroom ceiling fan never worked. Vacasa always refuses to accept responsibility and throws it back on the client. 4. At least we were able to stay the full booking this time: in Florida March 2024, we had to leave due to heavy sewage gas after a heavy rain. Vacasa called us liars. I wouldn’t have stayed if there had been another place at the same price point, location and dates. I really had hoped Vacasa would be more professional this time. Vacasa is NOT worthy of VRBO. Not even close.
