This property is very misrepresented on Orbitz, and honestly don't know how it is listed as a 4 star hotel. The whole place sits above a night club and the walls literally vibrates with the base through the whole place until 2am, you will get not sleep at all. We booked two nights here, bad have such a horrible time we booked and moved to another hotel and sacrificed our booking. The so called balcony is a door that opens onto a roof, where you can look at the back of buildings, there are zero views from anywhere in this hotel. There are no bellboy/reception services, the elevators is circa 1930, a metal box that you feel may just take your life, or get your stranded between floors. I have never said this ever on any review, but do not stay here.

Nearest to the village attractions. The price is reasonable. The property is near pubs and that noise is an issue.

The overall experience is very positive. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They even lent us an umbrella for the walk to the wedding we were there for. The room was spacious with nice kitchenette amenities such as a mini fridge, microwave, french press. There was a built in boot dryer, which was helpful on our wet weekend. They also had a PS3 available to use if you checked out controllers at the front desk. That's pretty neat. There were a few disappointments; the website advertised the hot tub was being renovated and would be open "better than ever" at the end of Sept. We were there from Sept 29th - Oct 2nd and it wasn't open. Nitpicky I know. The bathroom had a few rough edges. Some of the grout needs to be redone and the shower head was coated in mineral deposits. Also the cable package was pretty dismal. Obviously there is much to do at Whistler that isn't TV, but still. Overall, these negatives weren't a real problem as we paid shoulder season prices, but I'd be disappointed if I was shelling out peak season cash for this place.
