I think is a bit pricey for what you get. Cabin looks old, a kit to do smore’s is provided but the fire pit right outside our cabin was reserved, turns out it was not used! Bed was uncomfortable, ceiling fan was entangled. Location is great, check out is at 10AM, simple breakfast to go is provided. Bison burger was the highlight of this hotel!

The Bar N Ranch is a great place to visit. The location is wonderful to experience Yellowstone Park and all the surrounding area.

Be aware the shower was made for someone who is under 5-5... my husband and I struggled since we are well over 6 feet tall. The fireplace didn’t work and the staff couldn’t fix it. The overall experience was relaxing. Beds are comfortable and breakfast was good.

Not what we expected. No elevator, no air conditioning. Maybe we didn't read the description fully. Very rustic as i guess you would expect a ranch. Restaurant was nice. Staff was very riendly. Very dusty and dark lobby area. Wood burning fireplace in room very nice. Just not what we expected for $300+ per night.

We stayed in 5 hotels, two of which were 4 stars, and this was 2-3 times more expensive compared to any of them. I understand that the proximity to the Yellowstone park was the reason for that, but still, I thought that the cost was way-way too high. The room was clean and nice, but there was no AC or even a fan. Even with the window open it was still hot during the night, until the early morning. No breakfast was included as well. The lodge itself was wonderful, but no one really spends time at the lodge, or at least I never saw anyone spending time there. I don't want to sound too harsh, perhaps the location and other reasons necessitate the high cost, but I just think that the room cost was too high for what was offered.

Son made reservations didn't think of asking for first floor (which may not have had)....awful hard on 75 - 80 year old parents with bad knees. They had balcony on other side of hall.....would have been nice... probably more $.... BEAUTIFUL!!!! More expensive than our usual stay..... Make reservations early! Awesome art!!! We stayed in Ranch house....cabins available...also "canvas" rooms.

Great view. Felt more like a BnB than a hotel. Also steps from an incredible restaurant so we ate really well our whole stay! FYI- Doesn't have AC or wifi in the rooms.

This place was signature Montana rustic. Great rooms in the lodge and great restaurant. A beautiful place!

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We apologize that your stay was not up to your standard. While breakfast isn't included, we do have an on site restaurant that offers a buffet style breakfast to our guests. During the day, our guests typically leave the ranch to explore the park and sometimes don't return until late in the evening. We do offer a community bonfire with s'mores outside our lodge to help provide an environment where our guests can talk about their day's adventures. We hope you will give us the opportunity again to show you the exceptional service we can provide to our guests!
