It was nice that I was moved to another affiliated hotel after a flood at Red Garter…that was suppose to be an upgrade “Nugget” but it is very dated with stains on the carpet. The heater also did not work so the room was very cold. I mentioned it at checkout and the clerk acted like he didn’t hear me. I never stayed at the Red Garter but if The Nugget is an upgrade I have to really consider whether the low price is worth it. I didn’t contact the desk to check the heater as it was 11pm and figured no one could do anything.

The room was clean and didn’t smell to strong of cigarettes. I’m lowering my review because it says access to hot tub no one said it’s at the other casino across town and closed for the cold season. Wanted to upgrade but wasn’t able to. Food in cafe was good.

Pros: Clean, nice rooms. Heating and cooling worked great. Roomy, well lit vanity area. Hotel was renovated nicely , we hadn't been there in 15 years. Casino had lots of slots for being smaller. Cocktail waitress came often with free drinks. Easily able to ger around in my wheelchair. Cons: pillows were too worn, flat flat, not able to fluff up. No refrigerator or microwave. Bed was getting a little to broke in for my likes. Cleaning staff trying to enter room at 10:45 and they didnt have late check outs on weekends. Casino only had table card games Friday to Sunday. Casino didn't have late late night eating options or snack kiosk. One restaurant 6a.m. to 1 a.m. it wasnt 24 hrs. No other 2 a.m. food delivery to that casino
