My husband and I stayed at the Delta Inn. We had no problems at all. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. There was an upholstered chair in the room, which was a nice touch. The television was dated--it was the old kind, not the flat-screen television we have now. Yet it worked. There was also desk space, a desk chair, a microwave, and a refrigerator. It was rather basic, but we didn't lack a thing that we needed. We met Dorothy, the very sweet and personable woman who is the manager there, in the morning. The continental breakfast consisted of cereals(including oat meal), loaves of bread(still in their packages), juices, and coffee. It was a good deal and we left happy.
Arrived before check in time but they were able to give us keys and room number so we could go on to sight seeing the town sites. The room was basic, no hair dryer though. Great TV channels when raining. Quiet room to room and far enough off the highway to be quiet from road noise too.
We had not much choice because the were very few motels available. We chose it also because of the pool, but that was closed. Beats sleeping in the car. Friendly staff. Breakfast average. Location allright.
The person working the front desk was friendly and helpful, but the room wasn't very clean. The lights over the bed and in the bathroom were dusty and had dead bugs on them. The sink drain plug was pulled out and sitting on the counter with hair wrapped around it. The mattress was also stained and had holes in it. The breakfast was fine with cereal, toast, bananas, coffee and juice.
The outside looks good. It was booked but a door opened. Ms. Dorothy was wonderful, courteous and patient. She brought my keys to the room when the key reader wouldn't make my key cards at checkin. The bed was comfortable and the room had a refrigerator and microwave. The sink was stopped up but I was glad to get rushing water compared to a line stream of water I had the night before in a nearby hotel. I rested well!
Was pleasantly surprised. Only booked for one night, as we weren't sure how long we were to be staying but almost immediately we booked a second. Night. Not fancy, but had everything we needed, was clean and a friendly staff. Had a modest free breakfast, but did not expect more at this price. We will stay again when back in the area. stay again
We limped into this hotel in a damaged vehicle after hitting a deer. Our car could go no further, and we had no choice but to stop here-- otherwise we would have kept going. However, the Delta Inn was a nice surprise! The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. Very clean. Owner was so helpful to us. This is a great hotel for a good night's sleep at a reasonable price.
Was very surprised, the grounds and room was clean, front desk staff was friendly ,and very helpful at our check in. and check out the pool was a welcome site for my granddaughters. I would stay there again.
I will not stay here again unless there is no other choice since motels are limited in West Helena. When we walked into the room, I immediately noticed the floor had water damage and there was tile broken and crumbled. The bed had been moved and the tile was either dirty or rusted. The bathroom had tiles missing around the floor. The tub had gnats dead in it. When the shower was cut on, the tub began to fill. The tub was very slow to drain. As I sat in the chair next to the bed, I saw an ant crawling up the side of the mattress. The next day, I saw another ant crawling on a pillowcase. On our last day, I looked out the window and my feet were wet. The floor was wet and my shoes next to the a.c. and door were wet! I was happy to leave. The housekeeper was great! The morning clerk was nice. The continental breakfast was just a joke-Cereal and milk, coffee, and instant grits.
I traveled here for a family reason. With not many options on places to stay, I selected this hotel, based on price and location. It was basic, which I knew ahead of time, but all my basic needs were met for a one night stay.
