I always enjoy staying at the Southgate when my husband is in Wlgtn hospital. It means I can park my car and walk across the road without having to navigate through heavy traffic or limited parking. The receptionist is always super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

I always enjoy staying at the Southgate when I need to be close to the hospital. It is convenient being directly across the road so I can walk back and forth and it’s central to food establishments and supermarket. The staff/owner are always lovely to deal with.

Nice and clean rooms and great parking. Close to lots of walking distance shops and restaurants. One suggestion would be to add a curtain near the window of the balcony room front doors as a lot of light shines through at night

Really convenient considering I booked it on the day off travel due to a family member in hospital was a roof over head, can hear the traffic of your in the front room like we were bit noisy other than that it was everything we needed in such short notice

The reviews online were great but upon arrival, the room was so dirty especially the bathroom! Mould every where. The toilet seat was broken, no locks all been removed. Cigarette burns on the bedding. Toddler high chair covered in mould. Curtain backings mouldy. Ripped stained carpet. The room door only locks from the outside so not child friendly as they can escape.. room service did replace towels daily but that was it. Bed was made at the top but not the sheets?( we did not expect them to be made but thought it was odd the top was dont but sheets all hanging? It was all very strange. Receptionist did not seem to care when i pointed things out. I sent an email to the accommodation with photos and did not get a response.
