Really great little hotel. Rooms were perfect - heat/AC worked perfectly, nice modern bathroom, soap dispensers worked (not common in NZ lol) - while not fancy, we loved everything about this place. All of the small details that makes for a comfortable stay were wonderful.

We had a friendly greeting and were provided with very good recommendations for restaurants in town. The room was very roomy and comfortable. The bathroom was large, with a great shower and cozy towels. The only thing that this motel didn’t have was a view of the lake. If you don’t mind driving less than 10 minutes into town, it’s a great stay.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite. It was clean, spacious and well appointed. Everything was modern and functional, including the small dishwasher. It is located about 1.5 miles from the central business district where all of the shops and restaurants are located, and Ubers may not be available, so you will have to call a local taxi if you don’t want to drive.
