Our guests step in the door and fall in love with the warmth and spirited charm of our own Casa Cavatappi ('Corkscrew House' in Italian), a restored 1922 Craftsman house in an established residential neighborhood and furnished as lovingly as a permanent residence, within walking distance of downtown Walla Walla and Whitman College. Accommodates up to 8 people, with 4 bedrooms (3 with queen size beds and 1 with two twins), plus two single size sofa beds and a trundle bed. Has 3 bathrooms, one on each floor. With a bedroom and bath on the main floor, the house is a cozy retreat for 2 people. For a larger group's enjoyment spaces are designed for socializing and group activities as well as for finding quiet private time. A large TV/activities room is located downstairs, separate from main floor. A fully equipped kitchen that serves for daily family meals or gourmet dining. A lending pantry of basic cooking ingredients. A dining table that expands to serve up to 10 and two kitchen bars with stools for informal meals or conversation. A deck with barbecue, table set and sun umbrellas overlooks a fully fenced back yard. Off street parking for 3 vehicles plus ample street parking. Dog friendly with some restrictions. Wireless cable internet.

This vintage house made for a wonderful get together for 3 couples. The fully stocked kitchen was easy to cook in, and having a bathroom and bedroom(s) on each level gave us each our own floor. We are 4 best friends for decades who seek a rendezvous location every couple of years. We hit the Jackpot with this charming home in the heart of Walla Walla! It was like walking into our Grandma's home! The open central kitchen and large dining table was perfect for sharing dinners and catching up. With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms we had privacy yet plenty of central space for gathering. The host is an amazing communicator! Each time I texted she was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed morning walks to nearby Pioneer Park -- gotta love that! The kitchen is very well stocked and the TV room downstairs offers plenty of cozy seating and a game table. We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay! This home would be great for a family or even two with it's three levels, patio with barbecue and just a minute or two to downtown shops and restaurants. We will keep this charmer at the top of the list for our next getaway.

PROs: Renovated old house with lots of character and great detail. Roomy fenced yard, great for dogs (we ended up not bringing ours). Quaint neighborhood, ample driveway street parking. Very roomy for three couples (a 4th bedroom is available, but single beds). Each couple can enjoy privacy (bedrooms/ bathrooms on 1st & 2nd floor, and basement). Cool fireplace.CONs: My mother-in-law commented on cleanliness, which I noted can be an issue with most dog-friendly older houses. 1 mile to downtown, which could be an enjoyable stroll, but it mostly rained during our stay. Located on fairly loud street.Bottom line: We'd stay again if bringing our dog. Otherwise, we'd want to be closer to downtown wineries/ restaurants.

What a great house! We have a daughter that goes to college in Walla Walla and this was the perfect location for us. This house was FULLY loaded with everything you could need especially in the kitchen. Very easy check-in and check-out process. Would definitely rent again.

Great Multi Family House

Really nice for more than one family. There are 3 different areas for private sleeping and bathing with large kitchen and dining area for gathering. There are also sitting areas for quiet time. The host is extremely helpful when communicating by email with any questions about the house before you arrive. We had no reason to contact her after arrival as the place is wonderful.
