Staying at the Marcus is always a treat. Great hotel, apparently under new management from when we last visited. Can’t say I like the new lounge area decor or the new $25 amenity fee, but rooms are pleasant and location is great, and they do give you a $15 credit if you eat there

Great location. Dining room and front desk staff were excellent. Food was excellent. Prices were reasonable for food and rooms, but the “amenities fee” of $25/day was a surprise, although it is partially offset by a $15/day coupon for food or drinks. Improvement areas include housekeeping (bag of chips was left by prior guest behind night stand and they forgot to clean my room after the first night), no rack stand available for carry-on suitcases, noisy bathroom fan, too dim of entryway light and small bathrooms in west wing even though the rooms are large. Attractive lobby, but could use a piano player for the piano.
