The Marcus Whitman always delivers! The friendly staff, beautiful lobby, excellent breakfast are just a few reasons we keep returning. The short walk to downtown wineries and restaurants is always a plus.
cool building. nice part of town.
Beautiful historical property that is very well maintained. It is right downtown Walla Walla with walking access to shopping, tasting rooms, and restaurants.
The staff was helpful in offering suggestions for dinner and recognizing individual tastes, sharing their ideas for wineries to visit.
Everything was clean, comfortable and great. Due to the Covid crap they were forced to not have the restaurant open. That was the only downside. However they did upgrade us to a tower room at no extra charge.
great common room and lobby, staff was great, very helpful
Beautiful old world luxury, great location Wonderful sitting areas, and nice dining room
Pleasant atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. Helpful friendly staff
Liked the history and the depiction of history on the second floor. Disliked: NOTHING
Fantastic historic building that has been refurbished back to its original glory. There are lots of extravagant details and finishes throughout the entire establishment. All staff were super friendly and helpful.
seemed like a nice historic hotel. our room was in a new convention center wing, and the rooms were more akin to holiday inn than to grand old hotels. disappointing
The lobby is nice. The room at West wing out of date, the fan in rest room very noisy. Booked a room for 3 person, and got 1 king bed room. Breakfast was pretty simple, (no brad). Overpriced compared to other hotels in town.
The historical hotel is beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly but the bed I slept is was horrible. Didn't get much if any sleeo.
Large room, comfortable mattress, good buffet breakfast.
Loved the hotel & that we could walk to all the different wine tastings.
Walking distance to everywhere in downtown Walla Walla, including the numerous tasting rooms in storefronts. Staff friendly and helpful; very attentive to room condition and cleanliness. The included breakfast was good, but the addition of breads, bagels, etc. would be welcomed.
Home base for a few nights. Hiking in mornings and wine tasting in vineyards in afternoons.
The original part of the hotel was sold out and it would have been nice to experience that. The newer part is maintained nicely but it's not fancy by any means.
