Front desk people were very good. The room, 231, was not so good. Table and floor lamps in disrepair. Not enough soap. No shampoo at all. Cracks in ceiling. Had to call for housekeeping 3 times to get them to our room after 8:30pm.

My room was filthy, and dusty. We told front desk who advised they would send cleaning crew but they did not come or it was not noticeable that they came. We were there 5 days. Cleaning came in one day. We had to call down for towels, toilet paper and extra blankets. They did promptly bring us whay we asked for. On our last day they finally switched us to a much cleaner room but it was a total inconvenience. The front desk staff was friendly. It seems crazy to me to have such a disconnect with service/cleanliness. The reason folks stay in hotels is precisely for that service. Otherwise pay less for air b &b with a whole lot more space. The restaurant staff was not friendly and seemed bothered by our wanting to purchase breakfast. It was not busy. I have stayed here before and was satisfied but this time it left alot to be desired. It did not live up to the Hilton name.
