Great location. Lovely ocean front view. Very nice staff and love the F16s flying overhead all day. Very cool.

Where to begin? The hotel charges $15/night for parking plus a $15/night "resort" fee on top of the already overpriced reservation. The parking lot is EXTREMELY tight. Compact cars should only attempt this. Calling this place a resort is laughable. The room in the picture looks nice, but the actual room seemed like it hadn't been updated in decades. The carpet was held down by masking tape! The furniture was old and painted with some gray paint. The couch was stained. The night stand had a long piece of wood missing from it. The bathroom door didnt close. We had to use the tissue box to keep it closed. The water pressure in the shower was pitiful. Even though this was a non smoking room, there was an ash tray on the balcony and the neighbors smoked both tobacco and marijuana which wafted into our room. The indoor pool was closed the first night, but we were still charged a "resort" fee. There is a massive pipe spewing black water into the ocean right in front of the hotel which makes all the surrounding ocean black and undesirable. I think its part of the beach reclaimation project, but it was very disappointing. The hotel is at the very south end of the boardwalk. Pros: The bed and pillows were very comfortable. This is an outdated high rise motel. My friend hadn't been to the beach in 15 years and I was fooled by the name "Diamond Resort" hoping we'd experience a bit of luxury. Did we have a good time, sure, but the hotel was extremely overpriced for the condition.

Great location, pleasant staff. Room was okay. Door to bedroom didn’t close all the way, some of the drawers wouldn’t open in the dresser, shower head is like trying to wash your hair with a squirt gun.

Do not stay here! We didn’t get keys to the room till the last day. We had to get a security guard every time we wanted back into our room. The place was very poorly renovated. The tv was horrible quality. Not worth it.

I wish the outdoor pool was open as the indoor pool was always full

Dated property, great location and amazing staff. I prefer their other property in VA Beach.

This was a really great suite. It was right by the boardwalk with ocean front views. The gym was well equipped. The staff were polite and helpful.

I liked that I was able to get a King bed at the last minute after realizing that a twin bed was reserved. I didn’t care for the no privacy shower/bathroom. I also didn’t like not being able to get a checkout extension.

Excellent customer service from the moment you walk in the door! Beautiful view from room.

Loved the room but due to covic 19 our rooms weren't cleaned daily no toliet paper towels ect was not satisfied at all

The property was located right on the boardwalk which lead to amazing sunrises. It was across the street from breakfast and dinner.

Rooms are excellent. Could use surface parking. Front desk staff very courteous.

Clean, friendly staff, nice outdoor pool with bar! Only issues we had was the door keys NEVER working!! This was a major inconvenience with 3 kids!

The quality of this property and its service has gone way down since I first stayed here a few years ago. The room and the property is run down. Broken furniture rusty appliances. The bathroom tub wasn't very clean and the jets didn't work for the hot tub. There was no room service not even the courtesy of asking if we needed more towels or the trash taken out or the sheets changed. Almost everything was disappointing. They call to badger you daily about joining their club but can't change the bedsheets. I will not be staying here again.
