We have been using Vrbo since 2018. This property is the dirtiest one.One night I dropped my glasses next to the bed, when I picked them up I also picked up a glob of gray hair. We found several cockroaches, two of which were German cockroaches. We returned one evening to find a small invasion of springtails in the kitchen and bathroom. That is when I finally messaged the owner. I sent pictures of all the bugs and the wad of hair. He replied with "Let me look into it. I have never had a bug issue there. Let me send maintenance to look at the internet. It was just deep cleaned."He later followed up with "The little bugs are midges they spawn and at night with the balcony light on they are attracted to it. I have never in my 10 years saw a roach there. I will send exterminator over and come check the internet."I was essentially accused of leaving a door open and that is what brought all the bugs in. The maintenance guy did come by and listen to all my complaints. He took a dead roach with him, which may have been what convinced the owner that they were there. I guess my pictures were not enough? He does have an exterminator and being transparent all the bugs that I saw on the kitchen floor or bathroom floor where either dying or dead, so I assume that they sprayed before we arrived. We also found a note from a prior guest hidden in their guest book. He complained of the filth too. So this is not a new issue.
