Negative: Very simple hotel. Small claustrophobic rooms, thin walls that let you hear everyone and everything. 2 kilometers from city center (25 minute walk). Positive: Non expensive, very clean, nice breakfast. בגדול מלון זול, נקי, עם ארוחת בוקר נחמדה. חדרים קטנטנים וקירות מאוד דקים, חצי שעה הליכה מהמרכז. אפשר למצוא טובים יותר.
The worst ‘hotel’ I’ve ever stayed in. (If you can even call it a hotel). The whole experience at ecotel Vilnius has completely ruined my time in this beautiful city. Extremely rude and obnoxious staff, poor customer service, unclean, unsafe and very poor food. Avoid at all costs!
Terrible Wi-Fi. Loud and unpleasant guests. Thin walls. Sandpaper sheets. Uncomfortable beds. Water in the shower changes from hot to cold a lot. Receptionists don't care and are generally not kind. Breakfast room is very small and uncomfortable and the breakfast is bad.
I expected to have a simple room and pleasant stay however, the bed was really uncomfortable, the curtains were too short (the light was hitting my face every morning), we had a paper walls and very noisy neighbours who were screaming in the midnight and the breakfast was a disaster as there was nothing to eat in there. Wouldn't stay again in this hotel and I wouldn't recommend either.
We stayed here twice during our trip to Vilnius. Hotel is in good location not far away from city center. Service was great and breakfast was superb - loved the selection and quality of food! If they could install more electric plugs in rooms - would have given a 5 star rating ;)
This really is a decent place. Expectation is always measured against cost. £25 for a double room, breakfast and free WiFi is a bargain in anyone’s books. The rooms aren’t huge, the beds a little snug, the view isn’t great but - reception was quick and efficient, hotel in general and the room itself is spotless and well maintained. The bathroom was perfectly clean and functional with nice towels. So what else can I say? Great value for money all round.
The hotel is situated just off the main road which allowed for a fairly good nights sleep. It is about a 30 minute walk to the old town but the shopping avenue and other museums are closer to the hotel than that. Taxi from the airport cost 22 euros and the uber back cost 5euros so might be worth using uber throughout your time in Lithuania. The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and helpful and overall the location was reasonably good. There were a few things that let the hotel down, the breakfast buffet was in the basement which wasn't ideal plus the food was pretty poor, stayed 3 nights and only went once. Secondly, the triple room we had was fairly large in size but the beds were pretty poor. The mattress offered no real support and the flat sheets used didn't even cover the mattress properly. We paid 160 euros for 3 nights stay in a triple room which was fairly reasonable. If I were going again with friends as I did this time I'd consider going back but if I was with my partner and/or kids I'd likely look for somewhere else.
Hotel conviently located within walking distance (10min) from the old town. Accessable by bus 3G (stop Green bridge) from the airport. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Room size good. Bed mattress not very comfortable. Breakfast satisfactory with many choices.
We stayed in this hotel for 3 days because of the Vilnius Gospel Festival and I can tell you - the hotel is absolutely amazing. It’s near the center so it’s easy to walk from the heart of Vilnius to this hotel. Also there are buses going all the time. And the breakfast are something wow! Expecially those chicken nuggets! I can’t complain about this hotel because ir was amazing! Hoping to come back there again 😌
We visited this hotel for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday and we were very pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and modern with a super comfortable bed. It was lovely and warm in the room and the bathroom had heated towel rails which was a nice touch. The shower room was a wet room which I personally didnt like but the shower itself was modern with great pressure. The insulation wasn't great for sound proofing though and we could easily hear other guests both in their rooms and walking through the corridors. The breakfast had loads of choice. It isn't an English breakfast but this isn't a hotel that caters for majority English anyway. I always think when in another country try the food. There were cold meats, cheese, eggs, pastries, fruit, yoghurt and plenty of hot options too. The location is within walking distance to the city centre with all the shops, attractions and restaurants, and the walk back over the river bridge in the dark was stunning. Vilnius itself felt very safe. The staff and the hotel itself were quietly efficient and we left very satisfied.
