This hotel was perfect for one night. It's location is perfect for what we needed. Granted it needs renovations the staff was really helpful. The room smell damp but beds were comfy and the rooms looked cleaned with the exception of the bathroom wich was a bit moldy. The stay included breakfast which was very good. For that alone made our stay good.
This hotel is rather old and tired in appearance these days. The halls are rather dim and the decor fairly dull. Having said that, the staff were cheerful and helpful. The rooms were quite large, and ours had 2 queen used beds which were comfortable. There was a bare minimum of towels with no hand towels. I felt it was adequate as a hotel if you were just wanting a bed for the night with no frills.
The reception staff were very polite and efficient. Room service was prompt and the food was a combination of regional and North American. Very comfortable beds and considering that it's right on a major boulevard, very quiet. Would recommend. If you're coming in on the ADO bus, the hotel is right behind the main station so it's very easy and convenient to get to.
This hotel was accommodating to our large group. Breakfast was efficient and hotel, though on a main highway, was quiet. There was a large, lovely pool but too cold to use in winter. Lovely plantings were especially appreciated. The hotel staff quickly brought probably 150 bags to our various rooms.
We stayed there for one night as we were driving through. The food in their restaurant is one of the worst I have ever had and for being so close to the sea, the prices of the seafood are higher than the on win Mexico city's best high end restaurant. In general expensive and bad. I phoned reception to ask for towels and they told me they had none. That the laundry hadn't delivered them. So I has two towels for four people, for both the swimming pool and the shower. We decided to swim anyway as it was quite hot. However we were asked to get out of the pool at 7pm although clearly it said that the operating hours were 8 to 21:00!! The only good service was from the waiter and bell boy. I recommend it if you just need a bed to sleep in. It was clean and it is right on the main avenue that goes through Villahermosa.
We booked this hotel through Travelocity prior to our trip. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon after a lengthy bus ride and were told our reservation did not exist. We pulled up the confirmation but the reception staff just ignored us. The bell hop, who spoke English let us use his personal email to contact Travelocity. We was the only staff member that had the ability to problem solve. Everything else was just ok
This is a hotel used primarily by Mexican business people visiting the bustling city of Villahermosa. The good news is that it's centrally located very near the bus station. The bad news is that the front desk staff seem indifferent. We had a confirmed reservation through Travelocity which they said didn't appear "in their system". When I showed them the confirmation email on my smart phone, they said they would need to have it in their own email system. I forwarded it - but they said it didn't come through. I called Travelocity and they resent the confirmation and it STILL wasn't received by the hotel!. Fortunately, a very sharp and helpful Bell Hop (who spoke excellent English) had Travelocity send the confirmation to his personal email account. Finally, the dull desk staff agreed we actually had a reservation. Disappointing.
The hotel is exactly what one would expect, even has wifi. The restaurant is good too! The location is great for those coming/going to the airport or catching a bus out of town. Getting a taxi to wherever you want to go is no problem and I found the staff to be very helpful & friendly.
We stayed at this hotel when driving from Veracruz to the Yucatan. Very convenient location when passing through Villahermosa. Room was very clean and comfortable (loved the custom linens with Maya motifs, they should sell them) restaurant was very good. Front desk could have been more friendly...the boiler gave out and we had cold morning showers one visit, and their attitude was less than accommodating, or even mildly sympathetic....next visit we had unlimited hot water with good pressure. We will use this hotel again
this hotel is perfectly located for traveling people, with excellent access from the main street, spacious parking, easy to get to every corner of villahermosa. service is good and efficient, rooms nice and clean with suitable amenities. the restaurant in the hotel is o.k for breakfast, but for dinner, look at it as last choice, if you do not want to drive to the other part of town, because in that neighbourhood choices in the evening are limited. the hotel is close to the huge market district, which is splendid to visit during daytime
