Room was nice! Great view. Spacious room. Good internet. Decent beds. The drain in our shower was clogged. We mentioned this to the front desk. Nothing was done to fix it. The breakfast is very solid. Lots of options, and everything was pretty good. The dinner at the hotel was the worst meal of our trip. We found everything to be overpriced (compared to our other dinners in Iceland) and overcooked. I ordered lamb and was not given a proper knife (it's very difficult to cut through overcooked lamb with a butter knife!). We ate in Vik the next night. Overall, the hotel was a good place to stay for a couple nights. But I would recommend you do dinner elsewhere.

We stayed in the new building of the hotel, there were portions still being finished but our room was clean, new, and stylish! Very cozy. The restaurant had wonderful food and a great staff. Also, amazing views!!!

Hello dear guest :) I'm glad you liked your stay with us. But it makes me sad that you would recommend other people not to eat here. The prices here are similar to other places in Iceland. I'm sorry you didn't like your lamb. If you were really unhappy with it I wish you would have let us know as you were eating. We would have somehow made it up to you, like by giving you a new plate of lamb (with your preference of raw, medium or well done). We want our guests to let us know if there's anything wrong. We want everybody to walk out of here happy, well rested and with a full tummy. Hope to host you again in the future. Maybe try our fish next time :)
