Hotel Beethoven Wien

Great place great location

Orbitz is incompetent ( I have issues with them when I'm internationally), but hotel Beethoven staff was able to help out. Rooms were small but very clean. I'm never in my room much anyway and the beds were super comfortable! Rooms are kept super warm ( by my Wisconsin / Minnesota standards), but at least there were thermostats in the room were I could adjust the temp (not always true here with older buildings). Breakfast is worth while, a nice Austrian spread, and convenient. I love breakfasts in Austria, and as I'm usually doing a fair amount of activities during the day, I can justify the AM calorie expenditure. Pricing is on par with going out for a larger breakfast.

The Ritz-Carlton

Excellent service; walk to everything

We spent three nights at the Ritz in Vienna. We reserved club rooms, which meant we had access to the club lounge, which I would recommend. They serve a breakfast (more limited than the restaurant breakfast but good selection of cold and hot dishes), snacks during the day and appetizers in the evening (including beer, wine and hard liquor). We would have liked a little more and colder beer to have been available but the staff was extremely responsive when we asked. Overall, the service throughout the hotel was excellent and the location is perfect - on a quiet street, well within walking distance of all the major attractions.

Hotel Nestroy

Great Place to Stay in Vienna

Easy to get to downtown Vienna from the airport using CAT. To get to the hotel is about a 10-min walk from the station. It is down a quiet street that is ideal after all the sigh-seeing one will do when out and about in Vienna. The staff were friendly and provided me with maps of the city to help me navigate. The interesting part about this hotel is that the hotel is actually 2 buildings. One has the reception and rooms while the other just has rooms. After going to the other building for my room, the room was ideal and clean. Has all the amenities and free Wifi. This place, if you don't ask for your room to be cleaned, then you get a discount on breakfast the next day that is offered by the hotel. From the hotel it is about 15 min walk to the main attractions of Vienna. Great shops, restaurants and sites. I would come back here again.
