Hotel Ca' Tron3.0 out of 5.0

My partner and I returned a week ago from a lovely weekend break to Venice. We were allocated a place at this hotel following poor customer service prior to our visit from a different hotel. The hotel was approx 40 minutes from the centre of Venice but was easily accessible on the 53E bus route which ran regularly at a cost of €8pp return. Whilst the commute wasn't ideal, it gave us the opportunity to see other little towns which was nice. We had to be vigilant on our return though as seeing the hotel in the dark through the bus window was tricky until we got our bearings. It really wasn't a problem though. The room was simple, clean and comfortable and was all we needed considering how little we were in it. The breakfast was more than the croissant and coffee we had expected so was a nice surprise. It was simple but very nice and the 2 ladies who served us were very friendly and attentive. The aforementioned ladies also manned reception and were really lovely. They were helpful with bus routes and were generally very amenable and polite. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel.
Staying at Hotel Ca' Tron has been a big pleasure. I went with one friend for one night through the Smartbox coupon. I've really appreciated that we've not been treated as "non-paying guest" and this is already awesome. Moreover the welcoming has been great, nice stuff and always available at our convenience. The room was good, with nice and clean bathroom, TV, wifi, air conditioning and minibar. The position is perfect in order to visit Venice, Padua and the amazing manors of Brenta. While we expected to be fascinated by these two cities, the manors have been a suprise, they're really astonishing and you can get all the help needed from the staff to reach them! I lightheartedly advise this hotel to whom wants to spend some spare time in this amazing area!
We spent only one night at this lovely hotel but I wish we stayed a little longer. Everything was so perfect. Welcome, suggestions, room, breakfast, surrounding. We arrived there by bus which stopped a few meters away from the hotel. We highly recommend it. Rino and Massimo
We decided to try and have a low budget holiday to visit Venice so sought a place out of town for a weeks stay. The hotel and the area of Dolo did not disappoint. We had a view of fields and the Brenta canal out of the window. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the 4 euro basic breakfast and I have to say Claudia makes the best coffee I've ever had and great cake (she told me to mention the cake but it was true). We actually didn't explore the area much beyond the town which is very pleasant and where there are several restaurants. This is because we became addicted to exploring Venice and we did not mind sitting on the bus for about 45 minutes as there were things to see on the way. It was 8 euros for a return journey. We were glad to get back to our quiet, clean cool, room in the evening though. The last bus was midnight if you needed it.
The service is very kind and supportive and it definitely worth the prive in this area. We could choose to take or not the breakfast and after the receptionist detailed that only croissant and sweets are served we did not take it. The hotel has a nice parking place and the air conditioning is life saver during summertime, beside this the hotel was clean and basically we were happy with it. I would recomend it if you want to just have an ok place to sleep and visit Venice during the day. Do not expect additional services (they do not have kitchen however good restaurant close to the hotel).
Me and my partner stayed here because we were travelling on a budget and could not afford anywhere more central. The hotel was lovely, very clean, a nice big, bright room and very helpful reception staff. There is not much around the hotel, there is a street around a 10 minute walk away with a few bars and cafes but nothing too exciting. Venice is easily reachable by bus. The hotel staff emailed us telling us exactly what bus to get and which stop to get off at. The busses came around every half hour and ran until about 11pm. The bus journey took around 40 minutes or up to an hour at rush hour, they were generally quiet in a morning but very busy in an afternoon and evening, meaning we often had to stand up. You can purchase a bus ticket which covers the bus to the hotel as well as water busses for around 3 days. These are fairly expensive but are still cheaper than paying for a central hotel. In hindsight I would opt to splash out and pay for a central hotel, as the bus travel did eat into our time in Venice considerably, especially on days where we opted to go back to the hotel to get changed before heading back to Venice in the evening. You need to be aware of these things before booking. However, the hotel itself could not be faulted. It was very clean and and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Just be aware that if you are looking for a hotel close to Venice this is not the one for you.
The hotel is really nice with friendly environment, patient explaining all traveling tips with written instruction, drawing maps when needed, one of my best experience traveling. Distance 35 minutes to the city center, highly recommended to stay.
Visited here for a 3 nights in October . Such a lovely hotel. Would definitely go back! The staff were very helpful and friendly which made a real difference to our stay. Gave us local information and were very welcoming . We didn't have breakfast so can't really comment on the food. But the rooms were lovely and clean and finished to a great standard and beds extremely large and comfortable !!!! The only thing I missed was a bar as this would have been a bonus! But would definitely recommend this hotel.
This hotel was very clean and the staff were very nice! They had a PlayStation with a wide rant of choice of games that anyone is welcome to go and sit and play on. However the location of the hotel was a bit of a pain too get too as the hotel didn't give us direct directions to the hotel at all and just told us that we could get a bus not telling us what bus or what route. Despite this I really did enjoy my stay here, and the shower has a seat! Bonus! Loved it and once we arrived we were then told what bus we can get direct into the centre of Venice. The bus stop was only400m away and the little town centre ofolo is only 800m away. So it was rather close too shops as well as it being easy too get to Venice. Just watch out getting too the hotel. As we had too walk from the dolo station that was no where near the hotel
Nice hotel very clean ,staff very friendly .the only down side unless you have a car it is to far from Venice. Bus ride is direct into Venice. Not bad in the morning but not so good after a long day out
