Stayed here for two nights to hike Guadalupe Peak. Hotel was great with a cool historic vibe. Customer service was the best I have ever had at a hotel . The bar and restaraunt were fun as well. The only two things wrong with the trip were not the Hotels fault. 1. The train is close and goes by a couple of times a night. 2. One of the patrons had a dog that kept barking .

Wonderful!

Our room was very comfortable, but its location at the front of the hotel & adjacent to the road was very loud with traffic noise AND a frequent train. A different location would probably have been better. Otherwise, the experience was excellent and the hotel is charming.

Charming small hotel with a lovely little courtyard and period furniture. Friendly service. Small but clean rooms with tiny bathrooms. A/C blows directly on the bed, which is otherwise quite comfy. The restaurant was mediocre with friendly but poor service.

Very nice place to stay.

The hotel was clean throughout, from the sidewalk all the way to the room. The staff was courteous, and helpful. Although clean, the room was a bit cramped, but knowing the building’s age, that was understandable.

This is a nice, historic hotel in a very small town. The rooms were nice and quiet. On-site restaurant had outstanding food at a reasonable price. The included breakfast was good, not great. We would stay here again.
