I liked that it was kinda off the road, and I felt safe. Nice and clean room, pillows were great. Shower was fantastic, and a tall shower head, nice for tall people.

We had a very comfortable king suite. We did wonder about the cleaning-found a child’s pacifier under a chair. There was a pink gob of something on the sink counter. Breakfast was adequate in spite of covid-having an attendant serve hot breakfast was a good idea. Not many people there and the omelette was over done

The gal that checked us in was not friendly in any way. I requested a suite with two beds and a pull-out sofa because there were 2 adults and 4 children. Check-in gal was frustrated with me because of my request saying several of the pull-out sofas were broken. I stood there for 10 minutes, patiently while she figured it out. She basically threw the key at me without explainaing anything other than that the pool was closed due to COVID. I understand that COVID is an issue but why charge the same price ($171) when no amenities are available? Breakfast was a muffin and a granola bar in a paper bag. Not even a piece of fruit... Holiday Inn, come on!

Excellent condition...smelled fresh throughout property. Always had plenty of towels for swimmers. Breakfast menu offered wide variety except no waffles. Pancake machine, however they were very flat and tasted like rubber.

Hotel was nice, but we had a problem when we checked-in. We had requested connecting rooms because traveling with small children. When we arrived, we were told they could not give us connecting rooms because the type of room and price assigned through our Orbitz reservation. Because we made our reservation through Orbitz, they could only give us rooms that were near each other, but not connecting. If we wanted connecting rooms, which the hotel did, in fact, have available, we would have to contact Orbitz to have them change our reservation. Given that we were at the Front Desk trying to check-in, and per our Orbitz reservation, we could not make any further changes less than 24 hours prior to check-in, we had no choice, but to take the separate rooms. It would have been nice if someone had contacted us BEFORE we checked-in to let us know that we were not going to have the connecting rooms. It also would have been nice if I had known ahead of time that because we made our reservation through Orbitz, our options at the hotel would be limited. Very frustrating and quite disappointed.

The staff were extremely pleasant and our room was perfect. I will be staying here again on my next trip to Valparaiso.

The Holiday Inn Express in Valparaiso was very nice, and the staff was excellent. They were able to get me a super early check-in, which was greatly appreciated. I was not, however, able to take advantage of many of the amenities, as I basically slept there, and that was it.

I know... first world problems right? While it is true that the Wi-Fi didn't reach the top floor, the hotel itself was great! Clean rooms...pillows you are tempted to steal...keurig in your room...great free breakfast...great staff.

While driving to an event from Minnesota to Ohio, we needed a place to stop at from our 13 hour drive. I was able to make the reservation from my phone while still traveling. Staff was very friendly, pool area was clean, beds and room comfortable. Excellent breakfast in the more. We would stay there again.

booked this rooom for my friend and they are happy to stay!

Great stay for low price. Clean. Well located by main strip for food access. My son and felt safe and had a fun time

An average hotel nothing wrong with it but nothing special or out of the ordinary. A bit expensive.

This is the third time that our family has stayed at this hotel. It has a very nice pool and a free breakfast (both things that we consider a must have when traveling with children). When we first arrived we were greeted warmly and even though we were 1/2 hr early on a holiday weekend we were still allowed to check in. The room smelled very strongly of air freshener, but we knew that it had just been clean and it looked good. The only downside that we experienced was at breakfast. The milk that we got to drink (in the small containers) was soured. It may have been sitting out at one point, but everything else was great. Even with the milk being gross, we will still stay at this hotel the next time we are in the area.

The hotel is located in a perfect area close to shopping, resturants and other areas of interest. It was clean and staff were helpful and friendly!

Hotel was hard to find. Minimal signage. Front office staff was curteous and helpful. However, walking to room, floor felt like it was going to give way in places. Beds were uncomfortable. AC did not work. Breakfast was good. Picked it based on reviews. Generally disappointed.

Hotel was clean, modern and quiet. Great value for the price!

Hotel was wonderful. Beds were wonderful and the pool area was very nice. Staff was some of the most inviting I have experienced recently. Breakfast in the morning was great as far as hotel breakfast goes.
