Room was great - we didn’t use the pool. Area perfect, right next to the metro to get into the main centre and short walk to marina and beach. We also walked to the science museum and oceanografic. Great location

The staff that I encountered was really nice and easy to talk to. The property is a 3-5 min walk from the subway which is quite convenient and roughly 15-20 min walk to the beach. The room looked exactly like the pictures. I do think they should caulk around the shower. I think the room should be better dusted. Our room had a whole kitchen with dishwasher and a mini fridge however, no utensils, pots, dish soap, plates or cups which I find quite odd. I'm guessing if we asked for some items it could have been provided. However, I do believe those items should be in the room. They provided this 2-1 shampoo/body cleanser, however it would have been nice to have a separate bar soap just to wash hands instead of moving the 2-1 from the shower to the sink. I also wished there was a hair dryer and a iron/iron board in the room as there is plenty of space for that. From what I understand, there are actual residents living there, so I wonder if that's the reason there are certain things not available in the room since ppl come with their stuff but I still think for the rooms used "hotel style" certain things should be provided. The cleaning staff comes every day to do a light "cleaning" which was to pretty much redo our bed so if you like your bed to be done every day that's quite neat.

Overpriced, terrible service, and uncomfortable

The service was absolutely terrible for the price we paid per night. They take this much money and yet they dont provide even the basics in the room and they argue with you even when you go down to reception to ask for a some new towels. They said the towels and bed sheets are changed every 4 nights, meaning they change it on the 5th.... we are only staying for 5 nights anyways, and yet I was faced with pushback and attitude when asking for new towels on the 4th night. From the first day, there was only one used and small toilet roll, and a finger-width left of liquid soap/shower gel. We had to ask for it 4 times for 2 days till we finally were given some. The AC didn't work from the moment we stepped in, we waited for 15 mins and not a thing. Turns out, they control the temprature from their central system for each room, so only after we asked they finally let the temprature be 20 degrees or so. And then whether lower or higher, the degrees on your screen dont matter, it's what they set it up to be. Basically, anytime you ask for anything prepare to hear the word 'no'. Anything after the word 'hola' and they start having an attitude. I saw at least 3 different staff at the reception everyday, and they are all the same. Also, it's a university dormitory, so half the tenants are students even in summer. And guess what? The reception staff are used to treating and working with students, and they will treat their short-stay guests the same way.

This is a really great place to stay in Valencia. Primarily being long-term accommodation option for students, I loved how space was distributed for meals, work / study, clothes and for sleep. All was excellent. Only the "problem" I had - stay on a beach or go home to work 😆 My room was single with great quality bed of 120cm wide For short trips I would suggest to take your own toiletries.

Note that you are staying in an empty student dormitory. There are no amenities in the room that you would have at a typical hotel (no hair dryer, clothing iron, kettle/coffee, paper towels, tissues, etc). The Expedia listing also stated that there is no front desk and host will meet you upon check in. There IS front desk, which is a plus, and you can leave you luggage at the facility prior to check in (I paid to leave it elsewhere since the listing said there is no front desk). Bathmats and towels were not changed during my 4 day stay (I asked for an additional towel and was given a hand towel). Housekeeping comes very early and only makes the bed. Nice surrounding area and desk staff was nice and helpful. Would recommend paying some more money and staying elsewhere, especially if you plan to go to the beach.

While this is priced low and its location is fine, I felt like I was in a prison. There is a large gate and security for an area I felt safe to walk all hours. I have been to this part of Spain many times. This property had zero flavor of Spain. It has basic homogenized decor- you could basically be anywhere in the world. Zero charm. If you are fearful of a place then this is an option. I do not travel to have no experience of where I am going. They had no amenities- no soap, towels were tiny... they were friendly and it was clean. But for my money, I will go elsewhere in the future.

The studios are convenient and reasonably priced. The staff was great, very attentive. However, they need maintenance. Freezer door was off, stove hood did not work. They only provide very basic kitchen utensils.
