Choices are limited in this neck of the woods. This lodging is clean, comfortable and easy to access. As well as being pet friendly, the wifi was great and there was a mini fridge. There is not a coffee pot in the room but they do provide coffee and other breakfast food on the main floor in the am. It was a bit pricey for what you received but as I said - choices are limited especially when you have a small dog. We were happy to be off the highway in the winter weather.

Large rooms, comfortable beds and decently clean though not spotless. Place was not busy on a mid Oct 2017 Sunday night. Despite having only a few guests they would not dicker on price. They charge the same $129 all in, as booking on expedia, who they then pay a 30% commision but they won't discount at the desk to try and fill more rooms even though it is nine at night and not busy. Heavily tattooed girl at the desk told me to stay elsewhere if I didn't like the fact they had no restaurant and only a cold continental breakfast. Told me the Sandman Hotel just up the road had a restaurant and hot breakfast for the same price. Had supper at the grill and it was excellent . I think I probably will try a different spot next time.

We stayed here on our way back from a hiking trip in Jasper. Of the two hotels in town, this is the better place to stay. We stayed at the Sandman here on our way to the hike, and I rate that spot as poor! Staff at the Glacier Mountain Lodge were nice. A computer was available for use in the lobby. Wifi worked. TV worked. Breakfast was available in the morning free with the cost of a room. All good stuff. Door did not have a deadbolt, room was quite expensive given the age. Blue River itself is a rather frightening place with very run down houses. We did not feel comfortable walking around as a result.

We've tried most of the "hotels" in Valemont and Blue River while driving between Vancouver and Edmonton. This is clean. Friendly helpful staff, pet friendly and the breakfast was decent. As this area is a winter resort area I expect durable surfaces and some carpet wear from winter footwear. No surprise therefore as carpet was well worn by the door. The hot tub is sparkling clean and well lit. Good linens and toiletries. Glass glasses. A BBQ area if you want to picnic a meal. Fridge in the room solid wi-fi. Good value for the money as a stopover bedroom. It will probably be our regular haunt.

The hotel is clean and comfortable and staff were pleasant.we were tired and this was a good stop between Vancouver and Edmonton for us.the weather was not great so to settle in to a decent room was great.the decor is a bit dated but it fits the bill in a pinch.

The team at Glacier Mountain Lodge are doing a fantastic job at making guests feel welcome and well looked after. Comfortable beds, rooms are clean and tidy and the hot tub being available until 11pm is an added bonus!

We stayed at the Glacier Mountain Lodge for over a week while working in the area. The staff were amazing! They were incredibly accommodating. The rooms were clean and quite. I will definitely be booking with them the next time we are in Blue River.

For an overnight stop, this is a good location for travellers, especially if on the way to Edmonton. Rooms are clean and comfortable. it's a central location in this small town and handy for the highway, also places to eat and any outdoor activities you wish. Friendly, helpful staff and a decent price. Breakfast available in the morning, which is handy for those who need to get on the road and on their way. Recommended.

We had a very good experience here. Clean, sizeable rooms and comfy beds. The desk staff knows the area well and recommended the perfect walk to work off the road trip aches. Simple continental breakfast is included, with coffee and tea available 24/7. Wifi was unusable at peak times (after dinner / in the morning) so do you downloading early!

We stayed here on our way from Vancouver to Edmonton. The room provided the essentials. The hotel was in an easily accessible location, provided breakfast, and was a good price point. The staff was also super friendly. If you are looking for a clean place to rest your head, I would recommend this.
