My husband, daughter and I stayed at the Lodge this Jan 2018 and we loved it. The unit we were in was modern an updated just like we wanted. Plenty of space with a fabulous view. Great access to the Beaver Creek Resort Village, restaurants and shops. Great Skiing and very nice service. Loved the free transportation everywhere. Free cookies was a nice touch!
My wife and I along with another couple just stayed at the Elk Horn Lodge over the weekend and absolutely loved it. Great location, reasonably priced, very clean and most importantly, very comfortable. It doesn't have a restaurant or bar but with the local shuttle service, it's almost nicer because it feels like a cozy home. We will be back!
I visited the Elkhorn lodge and was so not impressed! I would choose to stay elsewhere in the future! I was greeted at the gate and asked both a man & a woman is the front desk still open at 6pm or will I need to go to the reception center to check in? I was told the front desk is open, I drove the 3 miles up the hill to find I was locked out and the front desk was closed. I then drove 3 miles back down the hill to check in with a young girl at the reception center. I then drove 3 miles back up the hill to park my car in the garage, get my suitcase out and went to the room and low and behold the key didn’t work. I had to go back down to my car and lock up my suitcase.I called the girl and all she said was sorry, I met friends for dinner then my friend had her key and let me into our room, girl at reception center never called or made arrangements to get “my” key to me she just didn’t care! Once inside it was nice and clean but after this frustration I don’t recommend it!
Elkhorn Lodge is 100% the friendliest and most stunning hotels/condo-lodges in Beaver Creek. Everyone on the staff are happy and extremely welcoming, and all guests are blessed to feel important and well cared for. The condominium units are beautifully furnished, and the whole building has an incredible vibe, and such a positive aura, that makes it hard to not feel happy whilst staying here. A trip here is highly recommended, Elkhorn Lodge is definitely the best place I have stayed at while skiing, I would highly recommend having a holiday here, you won't be let down. You have your own lift! What else can be said?
This is a wonderful property with very caring and helpful staff. This is our 8th stay here and we enjoyed our visit greatly - again! They have the best gym equipment and are always so helpful to book activities. These upscale rooms are always super clean and well maintained along with being very quiet at night. The front desk even helped us solve a problem caused by a local restaurant. Please book here during your next visit to Beaver Creek Resort. Thank you.
Our large group has been coming here every other year for 14 years (maybe more) for our big ski trip. We rent out 5-7 condos each time and the Elkhorn staff are simply amazing. From the pre-trip planning, special requests, check-in help and the million things that happen during the trip - the staff at the Elkhorn staff are there to make it go smoothly and easily for us. We've tried snowbird, steamboat, copper and other resorts over the last 30+ years and the combination of Beaver Creek/Elkhorn is unsurpassed. We will be back in 2019!
We stayed at Elhorn Lodge last year and loved it. The place is lovely and the staff is very friendly and helpful. However, the main reason we decided to pay more than we normally would on lodging is due to the fact that Elkhorn Lodge is just steps away from the Elkhorn Lift, making skiing with 3 children much more practical and largely hassle-free. However, on the day we arrived (March 27) we were informed that the lift was closed for the season due to warm weather which had melted much of the snow on this part of the mountain. We therefore had to take the shuttle to the Centennial Lift, which (to be fair) comes every 15 minutes or so and is a short uphill walk from the shuttle stop to the lift. Obviously, Elkhorn Lodge can't control the weather and Spring skiing is always a risk - so this review is mainly meant to offer a warning to future Spring Break travelers that the extra money for the 'ski in - ski out' service may be better spent elsewhere.
We where at Elkhorn Lodge from February 21 to February 27. This is our third time there and we would not even think of changing to another place because it is espectacular. Everything so clean, so nice, the people that work are awesome, make you feel great from the moment you walk in the first day.
We stayed at Elkhorn Lodge for a week long family ski trip. We had never been to Beaver CREEK before and did not know what to expect. The hotel itself was very nice, our room was huge with plenty of space for two kids (2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen), free coffee and tea and a very convenient shuttle to the slopes. The staff were extremely helpful especially Cat. She even took my son down to see the vending machine in car park after he asked her if there were any. She told them all about starting the fire in the common room, brought back lost cups to our room and was just generally very patient and attentive. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.
Once again, we had a wonderful experience at the Elkhorn. The facilities are very well kept, the unit was very spacious and beautifully decorated. It had all the necessary essentials and much more. As always, the staff was more than helpful. Beth, Peter and Kat went out of their way to make our trip a memorable one. Because of this, we will continue to stay at the Elkhorn during our future visits at Beaver Creek.
