It was everything we expected from a high end hotel like Ritz Carlton. They really go out of their way to make you feel at home!

Excellent!

My family had a great time at the Ritz for our 15th Wedding Anniversary vacation as we returned to the place where we exchanged our vows. We were pleasantly surprised that after they heard of our anniversary, and our return to the Ritz, that in honor of our special occasion the Ritz staff provided us with a card and a gift along with an upgrade to a suite. It was fantastic as it provided enough room for our kids to have their own area and it made my wife cry from her appreciation for such a kind gesture by the Ritz staff. The staff are so helpful, polite, and accommodating. Meeting their dog, Bachelor, is always a treat. We set up our kids with a day at the Ritz Kids program which they enjoyed making crafts and decorations for the Holiday Season. The property is gorgeous and we can't wait to go back. Thank you, Ritz for a wonderful getaway!

Way to expensive for what you get. Small showers, TV was not facing the bed.

Most people like a good cup of coffee when they wake up. The in room coffee is disgusting. Not a deal breaker but you'd think a Ritz would have something better. Good quality coffee can't cost that much more!! Yuk!!

Great people that go to stay. Great facility. In the top of the mountain.

One of the beds was really lumpy. Needed new mattress. Rooms were barely cleaned. They were also incredibly hot and dry. Couldn't adjust temperature or get enough humidity from a tiny humidifier. Staff was unresponsive or minimally responsive when we asked to move rooms, called for shuttles or requested information. Food at the restaurant was mediocre. Beaver Creek rental office charged us for the wrong ski lessons and the wrong lift tickets. Very average for a hotel of this caliber.

Hotel is very nice and clean, perfectly situated! Beware of hotel resort fees and parking fees they don't tell you about. Resort fee is 50 per day while parking is 60 per day, this is not included in your room price. Dont buy lift tickets at the hotel, they charged us 189 per person per day, which is way not nice... Lift tickets should cost half this, best to get them at some ski websites!

The hotel was beautiful and everyone we came in contact went out of their way to make it a special experience for us. The grounds were beautiful and the room was updated and comfortable. We will definitely be back again.

Typical for Ritz-Carlton hotels: great service/staff and luxurious, spotless room. My wife and I loved this hotel. We ate at The Grill, our dinner was well prepared and tasty. The hotel backs up to Beaver Creek Ski Area, and is ski in/out, or hike in/out at other times of the year. We plan to return again.

I loved staying at the Ritz. Less expensive food options would be the only thing I would change.

Great hotel in a great location almost story book. Lack of a proper business center and store for small forgotten items makes it tough. Beds were terrible like 2 box springs with broke down mattress pad on top. Not really up to the RITZ standard. Staff was incredible and everyone makes you feel welcome and appreciated. Hard to Believe: My son turned 13 on our trip so on his birthday they added $45 to his lift ticket and charged him the adult rate. Way to go the extra mile. (a little bitter )

You can't beat the Ritz in terms of convenience when it comes to skiing in Beaver Creek. The ski lift is literally right outside the door! And the ski valets are terrific! I've been staying at this Ritz for years now, and I've always found them to be a little disorganized when it came to managing the skis (we almost missed our flight the last trip because they took over an hour to find our skis--and this is after we told them to night BEFORE to pack up our skis). But I'm happy to report that they have a new system now. The skis seem to be logged into some computer database now, and they also tag your skis and boots with your name and locker number. Definitely seems more organized. And while they still seem to be harried during the busier times, they didn't *lose* our skis this time! Most of the staff are very nice. They try to anticipate your needs and will try to accommodate any reasonable request. Especially up on the Club Level. In fact, the only negative I would say this hotel has is the guests. They tend to be very snobby.

We enjoyed staying on Club Level. It is such a nice aspect of the trip. There is always someone available to greet you and help you wiht your plans. Delicious food, treats, snacks and beverages are served throughout the day. We enjoyed hiking, swimming at the pool and use of the fitness center and spa.

The Ritz... What can be said? Stayed in the cheap room. Not much of a view, unless you like ventilation structures. Bathrobes, great bathroom (tub and a shower),all types of extras, even Q-tips. Staff treated us like royalty, and not the retired school Teacher I am.

We arranged a get away weekend at what we expected to be a fabulous hotel @ Beaver Creek and were quite dissappointed. Although the facility was grand and nice, so many things detracted from what should have been a wonderfully memorable stay. [...] The room was nice, but not exceptional and for the price we were paying, it should have been. We planned our trip partially to eat at Spagos Restaurant. This Wolfgang Puck restaurant really let us down. Before dinner we had drinks in the bar outside the restaurant and the server ([...])acted as if she wished we weren't there! At the Ritz Carlton??? In the restaurant the service was quite slow. I don't know if they were short staffed or what, but we had to wait on most everything. These were not just polite "we don't want to rush you" delays. The first course servings were exceptional. My wife and the couple we were with very much enjoyed this course. I ordered a Kobe steak ($$$) as an entre and it was not hot (rather luke warm) and it had tough sinew throughout the meat. I should have sent it back! In addition, none of our meals were served hot. This is just not up to any standard for a first class hotel charging hundreds per night.I don't think I'll ever go back.

Great resort at one of the most beautiful place in the world.

The facilities (lobby, restaurants) are extremely nice. Excellent view right at the base of Bachelor's Gulch. The service was crazy good (we needed dish soap and access to a microwave for baby bottles - they brought to our room dish soap and hauled in a microwave - we just wanted to use the restaurants). The rooms were a bit small - nice, but small. We didn't stay in them too long of course.
