Location is good, nxt to the train station (so not the best view, but very easy to reach from the center). Service was good, breakfast as well. The room smell wasn't good at all and the noise of the air coming form the conduct was quite annoying. Bathroom was nice
This hotel was well worth the money, only a short walk to the central shopping area in Utrecht. Had a very nice (but small) restaurant and bar downstairs, breakfast was served daily and they provided LOTS of options it was delicious. Right next to the train station so it was very easy to walk and hop on a train to Amsterdam, or Rotterdam, wherever you would like. The staff was very accommodating and easy to talk to giving suggestions when asked and directing us to good restaurants and such. I will be staying at this hotel next time I visit Utrecht for sure.
Great location - 3 minute walk from the door of the central station but also about 5 minutes from the main canal in the city centre. We were able to be in Amsterdam within 30 minutes and it was nice to see both cities. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I just wish the window could have been opened as I like my fresh air in the morning. Water and wine left in the room are ridiculously expensive! However we did get a good rate for this hotel over new year weekend so we were very pleased overall.
Really bad housekeeping service. On the first day of our stay we found a smelly rag forgotten on our suitcase. The whole room was stinking awfully. On the next day we found 2 of the towels in the bathroom thrown down the floor. Housekeeper collected them a day later but didn't put clean ones.
A great hotel to stay in while in Utrecht. It is close to the city center yet close to the train station. Only about 20 minutes from Schiphol airport. Hotel is very clean, rooms cleaned every day. receptionist always try their best to help.
The hotel is adequate at best. It is located close to the central station, however this is one of the few positive things about it. The room I was given looked dated and the carpet was stained. The shower head and the hair dryer we falling apart and there was mold in the bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful
This hotel is not customer orientated, I thought I would give it one last attempt having had a few stays at this hotel. I will not be back, firstly I called the hotel to tell them my stay was delayed by 24 hrs due to snowfall at Schiphol as my flight got cancelled. on arrival nobody was interested in my delay and they said basically I had lost my nights stay at full cost and then the guy at reception said I could pay extra for another night as I was looking to stay another 2 nights. The room I booked was a double and I got twin beds, the room looked like throw back to the 1970's, although clean it smelt musty. Please avoid this hotel as customer service does not exist!!
Rooms: Clean, comfortable beds. I had a room with two single beds, pillows had different cushion type, TV had decent channels to chose from. The train was the view and having the thin blinds closed only allowed this flashing light to come through which was annoying in the middle of the night. Food: I ordered the hamburger which came with fries. Fries were delicious, the burger was just o.k. the bacon on the burger was the best part! They charge a tray fee of around 4EUR so in case you don't want to pay just walk down to the restaurant and eat there. Value: I am not sure how much the room cost as it was booked through work. The location was great the rooms were clean and decent I don't presume it's an expensive hotel option though because it was a bit old looking. Note there is a tax charged and it's charged at the end of your stay so if you pay for the room you may want to inquire about the cost of the nightly tax rate which was around 2.50EUR per night. Location: about 8 minute walk to the train station, about 20 minute walk to the central part of town where you can find shops and plenty of bars and restaurants. Service: Decent, didn't really interact with the staff but when I did it was pleasant and they were quite helpful. They offer 10% off your room service cost should you opt out of having your room cleaned. You need to submit this card to them before 9am the following day to be eligible. I sent my sweater for dry cleaning in the evening and i received it the 2nd day sometime during the day. It's not as quick as what I'm used to so if you need something urgent I don't suggest you send it out expecting next day return.
Stayed at the park Plaza many times and this stay was like the rest, 10 out of 10. Rooms, service, staff and food all 100%. Great location for train station and city, you can get to any place you want to. Will be back next year.
The hotel is situated right next to Utrecht central Station. The entrance to the hotel is through construction site and is tough to drive into. The walk is doggy and road crossing is a risky and one must be careful if you are walking down with your luggage.!! The food is okay but breakfast is good value and service is good too. Bus station is next to the hotel too.
