Spent 4 nights. Easy 5 minute walk to the canals, old part of the city. Bus within a block. Front desk was very helpful, pleasant. Room was large enough. Bonus, they have an elevator! Breakfast, at a cost, was lovely. Would stay again!
NH Centre Utrecht is located in a beautifully renovated old house. This is how hotels should be. Helpful and social staff (as the dutch are), a charming restaurant with good food for a reasonable price. Small lobby, but a nice cafe/bar close to it. Good sort of clients: behave well and have a respect for fellow clients. I really liked the place.
Room with a view, but due to trafic, very noisy. For this reason, the sleep quality was very poor. The bathroom was smelly due to blocked sink and shower. People at reception were not really helpful. The breakfast was excellent, with a large variety of options. The location was excellent, in the city centre of Utrecht, near the Dom. Overall, not a good value for money (I paid 200E/night).
Excellent central location. Staff always friendly and helpful and are always able to speak good English .. Lovely breakfast ,varied selection of continental foods. Food is always fresh and plentiful and I love the good strong coffee.
The NH hotel is at a fine location, but is quite outdated. Rooms at the front are noisy. Carpeting, bathrooms are all up for an update. Service is friendly, but could be a bit more efficient. Would choose the comparable and classier Hotel Dom around the corner.
Good quality hotel accommodation with polite and helpful staff. The hotel is conveniently located for the major attractions in Utrecht. Both the restaurant and bar offer a good variety of meals and drinks.
Visit to family. First time since we got married. My favourite hotel in Utrecht. Right in centre near all the bars. Near the Dom tower and canals. Good bar and restaurant inside. Large rooms Good staff Good breakfast Flower market across the road
Arrived soaked in heavy rain and was pleased to find great radiator heating to dry out clothes. Room was good, it had x3 beds. Good tv and I remembered a uk power converter to do some email via free wifi. The rain continued to pound on the roof all afternoon, lucky though as they had tea making, a real bonus. The rooms have a well stocked mini bar which I didn't need, great friendly bar just around the corner. There was a bit of late night noise from passers by, but it didn't bother me. Breakfast was great, with hot option if required, great range of choices. I would definitely go back.
Hotel well located very close to city attractions. Price without breakfast is too high like everywhere in this country. Room are comfy enough Hotel parking chargeable located in a spare street difficult to find and the hotel will not implement valet service to help you just leaving you with a "left/right" instruction on a paper like if after looking g day walking or driving you wish to bother with that.
When you arrive at a hotel in the Netherlands and find wilted flowers at the reception desk, you wonder how that is possible when you are in the country of flowers. That was my impression. I understand the hotel needs some renovation and that it costs money, but what I can´t understand is why it can´t be cleaner. Don´t get me wrong, apparently it looks clean, but when you go to the bathroom and see that the shower box needs a good scrubbing or because it´s too hot, you take the duvet out of the sheets and find red stains and have to wash your hands after touching it because it is dirty... well, you don´t feel very comfortable imagining the rest. Good location, nice staff and breakfast, but the hotel does clearly have a problem with cleanliness. I didn´t have noise in my room as it was not facing the street.
