Summer get away

Wonderful place to stay in Union Pier! We had a group of small kids 3-8 and loved the space, the yard and hot tub are awesome! Spacious enough to fit both families and short walk to the beach, hope to be back soon!

Great stay for a quick weekend getaway

Great location for a weekend getaway since our group had people coming from both Chicago and Detroit. House was exactly as described when booking and communication was always there if you had questions with check-in/check-out. Would highly recommend!

Great Place and Accomodating!

Bernadette was incredibly accommodating of our large group and was very easy to get a hold of if we had any questions! The property was clean, close to the beach, and very enjoyable. Would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in New Buffalo who needs space for their group!

Great house. Hot water faucet was backwards in upstairs bathroom. Ice maker on refrigerator needs to be repaired.

Great house and location!

We really enjoyed our stay and Bernadette was wonderful to work with! The house was as it appears in the pictures. It is very clean and spacious. The location was great - just a short walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely home on a large property in a quiet neighborhood. Short walk to one of the nicer beaches in the area. The VRBO owner Bernadette was very responsive and accommodating.

Perfect location and beautiful home

My family had a wonderful stay at Bar Down. We loved the home. We also loved how close it was to the beach and to local coffee shop. Bernadette was super easy to communicate. Already planning to book here next summer.

Great family vacation

We had a great stay! The house was well equipped for our family vacation. Very short walk to the beach and to the little town. Easy drive to New Buffalo, as well. We had a couple rainy days but the house had plenty to do for the kids to stay entertained. We also enjoyed the fire pit at night.

Great fall weekend getaway!

Had a great time at this property. The house was clean and spacious and the hot tub and fire pit in the back were a huge hit. Communication with the host was easy -- and she graciously allowed us to check out 2 hours after our designated check out time. Very close to restaurants, beach, etc. Would come back again!

Wonderful Home

This was the perfect place to have our family gathering. The bedrooms were huge, the family gathering spaces were large and the backyard was wonderful. The hot tub was a great way to relax with the cloudy weather and the beach was an easy walk. Super clean and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Absolutely wonderful!

We loved our stay! The house is big, comfy and very clean! We especially loved the fire pit and spent a lot of time hanging out in the kitchen. The neighborhood is adorable with little shops just down the street. Thanks for being such a wonderful host!

Fantastic property!

Highly Recommend this property for many types of getaways from a girls weekend to family vacation. The house was fully stocked with everything you needed including games both inside and outside, books, toys, videos and stuff for the beach. We had a wonderful time at this property with our extended family. We will definitely be back!
