Nice hotel but

location is good, Building is clean, breakfast is good enough. price is wonderful. But maybe some people will have a problem which is their mattress. Their mattress is so hard. like a floor. I could sleep but my adult daughter couldn't sleep.

Close to train station

The staff was friendly. I had a smoking room and asked to be changed to a non-smoking room. There were none available. They had room/fabric spray to help with the smoke smell, but it didn't help. I'm sure if I could have had a non-smoking room, I would have enjoyed my stay more. The hotel was close to the train station so it was loud during the day. It was no problem at night. It was convenient to do laundry at the hotel.

I don't recommend this hotel. The staff was cold, there is a minimum of contact or help with the staff hotel. You have to check in and check out on a machine only. On the information, it was written parking on site available for 500 yen, they showed me parking available outside the hotel, depending of them the price start from minimum 1000 yen by day.

Be aware that Toyoko Inn has double standards for not booking using their website and those booking from Expedia and the likes. If your stay is longer than one night, do not expect your room to be made, trash removed, or towels changed. They will hang a bag with towels outside your door because its company policy for not booking through them. Their daily "simple bed making and linens change policy are for members only!!! There are other hotels within walking distance I'll use for our next visit. (BTW, I stayed for 4 nights.).

Firm beds, but good value

Overall a good value for my stay. The price was affordable for a hotel so close to the train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was delicious, with rice, eggs, hamburgs, soup, etc to pick from. The only con during my stay was that the bed was extremely hard, much firmer than I'm used to. For staying just one night though, it was a good choice for hotel.

Neat and tidy with a great location

We have Stayed at this hotel a number of times and always had a good experience. Very clean and spacious room. Close to Ueda station and other attractions. Staff are friendly and professional. Parking is only 500 Yen per day. Highly recommended.

Great hotel, great service

Excellent service and very polite staff. The location is close to restaurants and shopping centers. The only thing of concern, was our room smelled of smoke, otherwise I would highly recommend this hotel.
