The room was so clean and bed was very comfortable. We loved using our own pool everyday and the place was very quite peaceful and relaxing. The hotel staff was absolutely amazing and brought us the breakfast everyday; night time snacks and a mosquito deterrent. Definetly would stay here again! Too gorgeous location as well.

Excellent service crew especially Aditya who was very warm and friendly and took care of our group during our entire stay. It was convenient that massage can be ordered to our room and we could just WhatsApp the property to order our breakfast before the next morning. There are food stalls just opposite the property and really good for local fare. Whenever we made a request they were prompt to attend to our needs. Our 2 bedroom cabana pool unit was great for us. The bathroom sometimes smell of drainage but hotel added aromatherapy and it made the whole room smell great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Origin Ubud and will certainly return to stay again next time.

Everything about this stay was incredible. I’ve never experienced service as I did at Origin ever in my life. The rooms are gorgeous, the stay is absolutely incredible. I will be staying here again in the future.

2 room villa was perfect

Our villa was amazing. The two rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were so attentive and helpful. We really enjoyed the daily breakfast. The pool was nice and clean and perfect in the hot weather. The whole villa was a nice relaxing getaway that was so enjoyable to stay in.

We had a fantastic stay here, such a peaceful spot but so easy to walk into the centre of Ubud. The staff were amazing, the in-villa massages we had were fantastic and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The nearby area had some great cafes and warungs and there is a Kecak fire dance that takes place literally across the road. It was a great spot to truly relax. We definitely plan on staying here again when we return to Ubud.

Staff are exceptionally helpful and understanding especially Mr. Aditya. Cleanliness and hygiene was great especially the private pool which was very clean. Location is ok if you do not mind a 7 mins walk to the main street. Villa however requires some refurbrishment as furnitures and cabinets started to show signs of aging especially in the washroom. Overall a great stay.

Too pricey for this place. It’s really worn out. The rooms have humidity issues on the wall, the bed linen has turned grey as have the bath towels. The rooms have no TV channels and the wifi is too weak for the TV to play a YouTube video. The pillows are hard as a rock. The rooms are separate and not connected and the view from the rooms is not very nice. The hotel photo is very staged from one small angle. Don’t be fooled by the reviews, this place charges luxury prices and is at best a 2 star motel.

The villas are super cute and clean. The service is some of the best I’ve ever experienced. All of the staff were great but Sukma was superb! Every morning they bring your breakfast at whatever time you prefer and offered housekeeping at your time preference. 10/10 can’t wait to come back!!!

The villa is lovely and modern with a welcome, cool (as in temperature), private pool backing on to a river at the bottom of a jungle covered gorge. Unfortunately, opposite a new complex is being built and the workers overlook the Origin complex. We were lucky in that our villa was mostly obscured by a papaya tree at the end of our pool. So, we weren't particularly bothered but it's worth asking about if booking in the next few months. Breakfasts were lovely and varied and brought to our rooms at the time of our choosing by the charming and delightful team. We also ate in our room a couple of times while siestering during the noon heat and the food was good. It's well located, a 10-15 mins walk outside Ubud and opposite a temple that has Balinese dancing once a week. The road it is on is relatively quiet and we (me and my daughter) felt happy walking along it day and night. They also offer a shuttle bus to various Ubud locations if you can't face the walk - although we only used it once when it was raining particularly heavily. The bathroom is private but partially open to the sky. It feels like a bathroom in a garden and is beautifully done. However, this means mosiquitos are present - although they do light mosquito repelling coils every evening. The clothes hanging space is also in this area, which meant we didn't use it it because of the humidity. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

It's in a quiet location except for the occasional noise from the construction site opposite the hotel. The room was comfortable. I especially love the bed and pillows. Always had a gd sleep every night. I love the layout of the room. The pool was amazing and you can swim under the stars at night. The bathroom & bathtub are huge. The in house toiletries smell so good I forgot to use my own.The service was amazing - very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfasts were delicious and served to the room everyday. The staff even sang me a birthday song as they were serving breakfast & a birthday cake on my birth date. It's a bit of a walk to Ubud Centre. They do provide complimentary shuttle services at selected timings. Their designated drivers were polite and charismatic. Our package included a spa treatment for 2 which was a 60 min Balinese massage which was so relaxing and done in the room complete with background music. We stayed in Villa 3. The room required a bit of TLC, a little maintenance would work wonders. Some of the fixtures needed some tweaking, a bit of paint in the bathroom walls, the pool hammock was missing a strap which could potentially cause someone to trip and fall and the wooden boards beside the hammock had a hole in it which could also potentially cause a minor accident. My wishlist is for the toilet to have a water hose or bidet facility then it would be perfect! Overall it was excellent! Keep up the good work Origin Ubud!
