Nice hotel in downtown by the river, so location is great for going around in Turku. Superior room in 7 th floor with a river view was nice but not fancy. Quiet room. Good service. Will most likely come again.
Nice small hotel in the heart of Turku. Good price benefit. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choices. Sauna available. Staff is very friendly and supportive. Restaurant and bar service is good. Overall it can be recommended for a stay.
I have often stayed at this lovely hotel. It has now had a facelift and is even nicer with wonderful staff and prime location.Lovely breakfast, go early before it gets crowded. River view rooms have a lovely view.
Stayed here with family over the Christmas period - excellent. The service was first class, friendly people and really fantastic room with a great view of the river. Massive breakfast selection. Ideally located Fantastic three nights sleep
Business trip - appreciated the nice quiet room and the very healthy breakfast. Easy walk along river path to old cathedral and Christmas market. Staff on the desk were really helpful in getting taxis.
Very nice hotel, clean rooms although getting a bit dated. The personnel is kind and help you with anything you need. The rooms facing the river are a bit pricier but well worth the price considering the view. The restaurant is not expensive considering prices in Turku and the food is good. The river side patio is very nice in the summer. The hotel is really close to the city center but far enough so it's not noisy during the nights. Anything you need is close by. Rooms are as always up to Radisson standard and the workspace for business travelers is sufficient. Better chairs could be an improvement point. As a Carlsson Gold member I have never been left without a free room upgrade and that is something I value, they treat Club Carlson members as special guests. The parking is a bit pricy in the cellar of the hotel but you can get your car into the garage if needed. The best part of the Radisson chain is probably the wide variety of pillows, so make sure to find one that suits your need when you visit. All in all a good quiet hotel with all services. Stayed there a lot and have never been disappointed. Thank you to the staff there!
the overall team is very friendly and attentive. The hotel is well appointed and located just on the river. The breakfast is excellent, the mens selection for dinner is somewhat limited. The private sauna is excellent (brana sauna). The gym is good.
Very nice stay, I’m here quite a lot & the staff are always friendly, helpful & friendly . Rooms are comfortable & quiet . Great location by the River & some great local restaurants are close by if you fancy a change.
The Radisson Blu Restaurant had been recommended by a colleague so we stopped there for dinner. The hotel lies along the promenade of the River Aura and tables overlook the river. Now that the days are short the lights twinkling on the river help to add to a quiet and peaceful setting. The food is good and the service is provided by keen and discreet staff. I enjoyed a reindeer meal which must be recommended, but the wine menu seems to lack a choice worthy of a large hotel chain. All-in-all this was a fine experience marred only by one singular patron who upset all the other diners with his perpetually loud and offensive (language) phone calls. If there is any criticism to be directed to the hotel and/or restaurant it should be that mobile phones should be muted in the restaurant. After all they are "mobile" and calls can be made discreetly without disturbing the pleasures and wishes of other diners.
Service, atmosphere, and location were all wonderful. Food and entertainment were in walking distance. request a higher level room with a view over the water, it's totally worth it. free wifi and restaurant in the lobby.
