This hotel was such a nice surprise. It is a very short walk from the Porta Susa train station. The room was very nice and comfortable, bright and clean. The staff at the front desk were the best I had encountered on a ten day trip through Europe. They were so accommodating and friendly. They even refused a tip after helping me print out some documents I needed for my next day's travel. An added bonus is the hotel's proximity to many nice restaurants. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice place to stay near the train station.
Visited this hotel as part of a Great Rail tour and was very happy with what I found The staff were very friendly with bedrooms very well decorated and the bathroom was very modern The linen and toiletries were excellent quality. The breakfast was of a high quality and overall what I found with this hotel was very good
Have stayed at this hotel quite a few times - before and after refurbishment and have always been satisfied. This time round we were disappointed for 2 reasons. This was our first time booking a room for 3 persons. The third bed was clearly added to the room that usually has only a double bed. It was also the first time with a car and we used the garage which carried a €16 daily charge. Felt it was steep for a garage that couldn't be locked as the gate was severely damaged.
Stayed as part of a group. Newly modernised with good bathroom and usb charging point by the bed. Clean and bright and nice toiletries but air con very noisy. Dinner not particularly good and as we had to leave at 07.10 they would not open the restaurant early for breakfast so we had a picnic provided which was very basic. Close to train station.
Was a nice hotel with friendly staff; and was near good transport links and centre. NH could perhaps name their hotels in Turin more explicitly different as went to wrong hotel at first. Good breakfast as well
My room was very small, but clean. My window was frosted glass because it looked out onto a fire escape. All day and night, the same light came in the window. There were heavy curtains you could use to make it dark, but I wanted to open the window because I could not get the air conditioning to work properly. There was no coffee maker or tea in the room, which I would have appreciated. The neighborhood is OK, it is central, but there are better parts of town. The best part was the breakfast -- good coffee, lots of fresh fruit and pastries.
It was centrally located and provided close access to the airport. We were ill during this part of the trip and unfortunately didn't have the energy to explore. But we will be back! NH hotels are consistent in the high quality and service.
Stayed here with Great Rail Holidays (GRH) whilst in transit Florence to Paris. Reception staff on the ball on arrival and keys ready for a large group. Found room very modern with a lot of nice touches. Bathroom excellent. Bed very comfortable. Found safe opened and locked out. Had to call staff to de-code from previous guests. Found toilet seat handing off it's hinges!!! Could only be used with care perched on it. Safe quickly sorted. Toilet seat was not though reported to staff that evening. Dinner for our large group very acceptable with good staff serving. Breakfast in the morning was very good choice, nice surroundings and very adequate. Heard from others in our group that toilet in their room was leaking foul water from the base. Also heard that a GRH Tour Manager for another outward bound group was locked in his bathroom for 20 minutes. Had to beat on the door to get out. Really bad!!! In summary, good hotel let down by poor housekeeping. MANAGEMT REALLY NEED TO GET A GRIP ON THE HOUSEKEEPING. SOMETHING TERIBLY WRONG!!! Would we stay here again as independent travellers. No! Close to railway station to Paris. 5 minute walk.
The bed was comfy, the staff was nice and kind, breakfast have been super. My room was not so wide, it was essential and enough for just 1 person. Refurbishment work in the garage have cut many parking spaces
This hotel is conveniently near the main stations and Metro for ease of access. The centre of the city was within walking distance. The breakfast was excellent - a very good range of food and types of coffee. The room was comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was not well designed and was the least acceptable feature. As we left the front lobby was about to be upgraded. We hope the disabled access is restored.
