Eurostars Mar de Vigo

Very nice hotel

The hotel room was attractive and comfortable, and larger than most I’ve had in Europe. It was also very reasonably priced. The location is pretty plain, but it is easy walking distance to Old Town. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

NH Collection Vigo

Nice location and great staff

We were in this hotel one night - got there a bit late on a national holiday and thought we were out of luck for some good Spanish seafood. But the staff pointed us in the right direction for some of the best we've had in Spain. The room was on one of the top floors and was spacious and very nice. The shower was a bit small, but we made it work ok. As with most NH hotels, this was very well appointed and not at all expensive. It is in a great location in Vigo and worth the cost.

Hotel Valença do Minho

Two nights in Valenca

Hotel in newer part of town, historic fortress area about 15 minute walk. This property was probably THE place years ago but is tired though the rates reflect that, had a suite with separate sitting room, fridge, large bedroom with free limited breakfast for economy pricing. The hotel is within walking distance from both train and bus stations with a good restaurant two buildings to the South. This is not the Posada inside the fortress but for half the price and easy transport it's a winner.
