THis was my third time with Quest and the most disappointed one. After taking my bath at night, my husband found a bed bug and some tiny creatures on the bed and pillow. I called the reception and he asked the house keeping person to change all the linen for me. I was regretted for not asking to change the room in stead. My husband woke up at midnight and he found more bed bugs on the pillow. In the morning, we both found bed bugs bites on our body. I was more serious as I had many rashes on many parts of my body. I was so regretted to choose Quest. I like this hotel and that's why I been here for three times. But, it really disappoint me. Please take immediate action on the matter. Room 306.
We stayed for a one night stop over on our way to Lombok. Good value accommodation with complimentary airport transfers (which relieves the annoyance of dealing with hawkers and taxi drivers at the airport). We had a ground floor room that gave us direct access to the pool from our patio. The only hiccup was that our incoming flight was delayed by 2 hours so when we arrived the pick up guy wasn't there. Lucky we had roaming on our phone and were able to call the hotel and request pick up- they were there within 10 minutes. At breakfast it was clear that this is a hotel preferred by Indonesian travellers- we were the only westerners (which we quite enjoy). Good breakfast (additional IDR120,000 per person) with the usual egg station, local foods, western hot food options, fruit, sweets, cereal, juices and coffee. This probably isn't the type of hotel where you would hang out all day and chill by the pool but is great for travellers on a budget.
My wife and I stayed for 6 nights in Deluxe Room and extend 2 nights in Superior Room (May 2017). As I remember, this was our 3rd / 4th stay in this hotel and we would like to see what improvement that this hotel has. In short, let's see the good and the bad that we had: The Good: (+) Spacious & clean room, comfy bed and the AC was quite cool. (+) Amazingly these rooms were quite cheap. (+) Great services from the hotel staffs!! Very helpful, friendly and polite. They promptly respond to every requests from guests. (+) Free Airport Transport (Pick Up & Drop Off), but see the terms & conditions for the period of time which time is eligible for free transport. (+) Free shuttle bus to couple of places. Make sure you aware for its schedule. (+) Welcome drink. (+) Interesting Car Park (using car elevator hydraulic system to go to the basement). (+) Good location. Nearby the airport and Kuta area. Not to far to the Kuta beach. Also, there is a small plaza / mall which you can find descent meals and shop. (+) Decent pool size. The Bad: (-) Pest Control problems. We were in war with so many small cockroaches every single day in every spot in the room (deluxe & superior). We even bought the anti-insects spray to exterminate them. (-) Limited car parking space. Only applied if you rent a car. (-) Average taste of the food and limited variety of breakfast's menu. (-) Thin wall & door plus noisy guests. We had a hard time to sleep because the tourists from China and India were shouting (incredibly loud and noisy) in corridors and their rooms. For several nights, some of them were drunk and keep banging stuffs and furniture at 3 AM. No action from the hotel security. (-) Near the military camp. Expect loud sirens for their routine activities (training, workout, etc.). (-) Mini main lobby. If there are groups of people more than 5 persons in the lobby, it will be noisy and fully crowded. (-) Check-in process took more than 15 minutes. This can be a time to learn your patience for your anger management. (-) Sticky room's floor. (-) Bathroom's shower head is installed to high. Not a short person's friendly. (-) Bath towels & bed covers were a bit dirty and has several stains mark. In summary, we were quite enjoy with our stay in this hotel especially it is an affordable (tend to cheap) hotel. We could tolerate our troublesome. My question is: Should I stay again next time in this hotel? Well, it will depends on their improvement. Hopefully it can be better in the future.
My parents request for airport pickup and nobody came even after waiting for more than an hour. On our 2nd night, there was a problem with the fridge and some staff came in while I was using my Notebook. Usually I will bring it when I go outside or at least put in a baggage and lock it, but the next day I just put the notebook in a bag and put the bag on the luggage. Exhausted, did not check the note when we arrived at night and just check out on the next day. Then we realize that the notebook was gone. Ask about that and it was nowhere to be found. It's just ridiculous, you left your stuff in a room, room getting cleaned, and your item lost. Well, we just take it as "dump the bad luck" or "buang sial" in Indonesia, but still. Will never EVER return. Thank you :)
This was our third and last hotel of our the vacation in Bali. The first two hotels that we stayed in were so amazing that this one turned out to be an average one. This may be a good transit hotel but definitely not a great place for a vacation. The rooms aren't as clean and tidy as shown in the pics. The floor is dirty and room size is average. Rooms have no view at all. Restaurant is average. They'll prepare something in veg if requested(this was the only good part). Overall it was a great disappointment.
I stayed here last year when my plane was delayed and two days ago I had another 14 hour stopover in Bali. So without a prior booking I jumped in a taxi (IDR120,000) with my luggage and asked their front desk if a they had a day room. They did. Only IDR500,000 from about 2pm til 10pm. Also included courtesy car to the airport, so I tipped the driver. Had a beautiful Bali beef and rice for lunch while they got the room ready and my wife called to tell me my Dad had passed away that morning. Quest Hotel Kuta has a nice little Balinese garden with vine covered walls and ancient water pots. There was traditional Balinese music piped over the speakers and I was able to accept our family's loss in the most peaceful place imaginable. I then enjoyed having a shower and long nap until 7pm and went down for a dinner of soup noodles followed by fried banana with shaved cheese and chocolate. Had another shower after using the excellent WIFI to talk to family back in Australia. Staff so friendly and helpful and very short ride to airport, hence they also have awesome view of planes landing and taking off, without noise as the local community play traditional music through the town's Tsunami warning loud speaker system.
Thank you so much for the hospitality... I was enjoying my stay .. Mr. Iwan very so kind and specially dipa and ms devi they made my day when i was far away from home.. And maybe if they internet connection was better it would be great..
The price is good for 3 stars hotel and the employee were so friendly. There are many local restaurants surrounding it; so if you like Indonesian cuisine then you will have no problem to get your meal. The hotel provided a free shuttle from and to the the airport. Have stayed there for 4 times; and will stay there again!
Excellent customer service. Everytime when we go to bali we stay here first day n last day. It was our 6 times visit to quest kuta hotel.Great value for money. Free transportation to airport. Even free breakfast. Wifi is excellent as well.
Helpful responsive staff, free airport pickup, good breakfast, good WIFI and free shuttle to shopping mall. The reception handled the late night rescheduling of the airport pick well after a missed flight and 6 hour delay
