Crabber’s was a base for our exploration of Redwood Nat’l and State Parks. Trinidad is a charming little hamlet. The cottage is steps away from a restaurant and a very good cafe (Beachcomber). Most of the town is perched on top of a serious hill, so the “walk to the beach” is strenuous. Super easy access to US101. Very good intel on local attractions, all of which are half an hour away, max.

Door locks need to be replaced. It would be nice to have at least a hot plate & pan plus more amenities (shampoo, conditioner, hand soap). Disappointed that we had to take out the trash yet they asked for a housecleaning gratuity. Tub was backing up from all the hair clogged in the drain (gross!). Otherwise a cute & comfortable place

Crabbers Cottage

What a fabulous cottage! We were mostly out and about but this cottage was clean and comfortable while we were here. We already plan to be back and this will be our first choice when we do! Highly recommended.

Awesome place! Very inviting and cozy. Short walk to the beach overlook. Nice add-ins like the game and book shelf, local information available, and emergency lighting (that we did use during a power outage). Lighthouse nearby. Close by restaurant, Larrupine' Cafe, had a sample board with several locally made food items, and the food was phenomenal!
