The hotel was nicely appointed, new. The Restaurant, Osteria, was TERRIBLE (do not eat there), but the Hotel mgt. says it is not owned by them. The hotel sits by itself high on a hill above Trier in a farming area. The main hotel is a castle-like building with a restaurant that overlooks the city. Our room was a budget room in the annex aside the main building.
