As a Platinum member, I prefer Accor hotels in general and Pullmann Hotel in particular. I had chances to stay in Pullmann’s in Germany and in Europe, my preference on Pullmann’s is because they are “smaller”, perfectly guest related and have the special touch. The Pullmann Toulouse appears to be as you would expect it to be. The welcome frendly, professionally and with a personal touch, the rooms modern, clean and brite, the bath tidy, modern and stylish. We booked a Superior- and we got a Deluxe-room (up-grade) but the heating/AC was disappointing, the windows could not be opened (we stood in the 8 floor) and wake up with a "big head", the view was on a construction area, I am happy, we stopped over the weekend and did not face any construction noises – this Is not recommendable. The location of the Hotel is central. You have easy access to the shopping roads, the sightseen spots and POI's. All you have to pass is a main zone of prostitutes or “we would call it an Urinal” - this is not recommendable The service we received was good, we asked for help at the check-in of our flights. The receptionist managed this perfectly; he introduced us to the free/but-not-free Minibar service in our room. We "misunderstood" the limitation between an exotic juice and an orange juice. So we had to pay 19 € for a barrier of nuts, a mini glass of nuts and a 0,2 l Granini. In other Hotels I am welcome with a dedicated offer and a note. This Management attention is member- and hospitality-related and sure spoiling, to ask for big money for peanuts sure not - this is not recommendable. We just stood 2 days and one night in Toulouse but we are curious to get to know more about the town, about the Hotel, I am only curious to read the next comments.
Arrived at midday and room was ready Room was an excellent size. Beds were really comfortable Shower endless hot water Front reception staff really helpful There are works going out the front of hotel but so far have not heard anything Good breakfast choices
Of course, it starts with the front desk. The person on duty was terrific and had answers to all our questions. We were there one night on the way to the Canal du Midi and confronted by a rail strike. Everything got sorted out. The hotel is very pretty and could only be improved by a better sidewalk surface! It was a difficult walk to get there from the metro station.
We had a one night stay at the Pullman Toulouse on our way to the Canal du Midi. The access to the hotel by car is horrendeous and the whole area is in an open air building site which I understand will last for months to come. I will not mention the prostitutes touting for business a block away from the hotel but this is another story..Once you are in the building, this is a very different story. The lobby and decoration are modern but really nice and upscale, you do feel some level of premium if not luxury. We had booked a Suite and a standard room and both were excellent with nice bathrooms; Service is generally good and friendly, to the exception of the bar where the service was, euuuuh, non existent ! Pity as the ambiance is rather nice but service was truly non existent and the few minutes spent by the bartender on duty who attended to us could be well forgotten. The buffet breakfast in the morning is a genuine delight and worth the money they are asking for. If you are not bothered by the surrounding construction works, this is the place to stay in Toulouse as it is fairly centrally located for most of the important sites...
We were kept awake and hen woken up before 5,00 am by outside shouting, despite having all windows closed. The double glazing seemed to be totally ineffective. Otherwise, nice and helpful staff in a building showing its age.
Beautiful hotel next to rail station, staff were absolutely brilliant so helpful and willing to go that extra mile. Downside, building work directly outside hotel, a little pricey, €11 for a small glass of wine. Would we stay here again, Definitely
I stayed one weekend night at the Pullman Toulouse Center, receiving a nice room upgrade to a large, single room with king bed. Having arrived via train from Bordeaux, it was a very easy walk of approximately 400 metres from the gare to the hotel entrance. Once inside the sleek, chic lobby, I was greeted by the friendly staff who saw to my easy time at reception. The hotel's design is modern, but inviting all the same, with none of the soullessness that can confront modernist accommodations. What I liked in particular was the room divider between the sleeping and entrance areas that gave the impression that the room was larger than in actuality. The bathroom featured many nice amenities. The location, convenient to the train station as mentioned before, is also rather convenient to reach the Place du Capitole, which I did to visit the small, but bustling Christmas market.
I stayed here with a friend as part of a pre-arranged tour package. Other hotels on the tour were mostly older and quaint. So, this hotel was a bit of a break in that it has many amenities and is certainly more modern. There is a nice bar in the lobby for starters. Our double bed room was very large with lots of space for luggage and sitting areas. Our room had a little fridge. Bathroom amenities were very good. We did have a bit of trouble figuring out the shower (as did others in our group), but the staff came right up and helped out. I can usually figure showers out, but this one stumped me. Others in our group said that there was a window looking into the bathroom from the main room which wasn't exactly what folks wanted who were traveling together but not a couple. Our room didn't have that, so you might ask ahead if you don't want a peep window! Breakfast was fabulous except for the "scrambled eggs." But there were so many other choices including hard boiled eggs. There is a huge construction project in front of the hotel so reaching it was an issue for our big bus. We had to be dropped off a block away with our luggage in the rain. Other than pick up and drop off, the construction didn't impact us at all. We also had dinner at the hotel one night which was very good. A lovely little can of paté is presented with the bread. There are also many restaurants that are within walking distance. One member of the group had to see a doctor which the hotel arranged. It was nearby and very convenient.
I stayed here a couple of weeks ago, it was booked through a holiday deal on BA.com. I picked it as it was highly rated, and a short walk from the main square and main shopping areas of Toulouse. I had paid more for a deluxe king room which was worth the money. Though booked beforehand, it turned out to be a celebrartory weekend as my partner and I had just got engaged. She contacted the hotel ahead and they made an extra effort for us. The location of the hotel was ideal, although slightly difficult to get to at the moment by cab owing to some major roadworks. It is minutes from the train station, and near the town centre. The main road leaves a little to be desired, but that is not the fault of the hotel. The service was outstanding, especially at the front desk. The young lads manning it could not have done more for us. In the morning, the breakfast selection was plentiful and superb, and our deluxe room was lovely and spacious. Highly recommended!
I love the location of this hotel. It's a 3 minute walk from the Matabiau train station, 5 minute walk from the Matabiau bus station ( where you can take an easy shuttle to the airport) and a 15 minute walk to the downtown shopping/touristy district. The room was clean and comfortable and very modern. I enjoyed my stay.
