I was very disappointed with my recent stay. When I booked through Expedia, the price was shown in USD even though I was on the Canadian site. Once I arrived at the hotel, the bill ended up being much higher than expected. When I tried to explain the situation, nothing was done to help or to adjust the charges. This left a very bad impression and made the experience feel unfair and frustrating. I travel often and I expect transparency and honesty in pricing. Unfortunately, that was not the case here.

My stay in Hampton inn and suites

Clean and spacious room, comfortable beds, free parking and wifi, pool and gym. Breakfast good. Lots of stores around the hotel to go shopping and lots of dinners too. For quick financial transactions, there a TD bank just by the hotel. Only local news and stations on Tv, dont expect Netflix etc.

Was working in the area and there are limited hotel options. I would not recommend this one. Between the leaky tap that dripped incessantly all night to the blackout blinds that only close partway - this was not the best hotel experience. The shower also had a lot of rust and the hand soap dispenser was covered in dried crusty globs of soap. Not a TERRIBLE hotel, but far from ideal.
