Fire alarm was activated around 5.30am. The alarm initially only sounded on and off and then the alarm became constant. This triggered an evacuation, which we were left standing outside with very little information.

It’s very tired and smells of damp. At the weekends, even when paying for an upgrade, you are faced with loud music from the nightclub over the road. The air conditioning was broken and locked on a low setting so we were freezing all night. The bed was hard and the executive lounge is like a teachers meeting room. Just not worth the money.

Entrance & foyer was impressive & clean but area outside was dingy & a bit industrial looking. We visited for a gig & didn’t spend much time around the area. Hotel room itself was nice with good facilities but it was not ready with cleaner still in when we arrived. Reception was ridiculously undermanned (only one person)on our check out & delayed our departure.
