I thought the room was small for the price with only one chair and no table. The only other seating was the desk chair. The bed and pillows were great.... The room was very clean and plenty of towels, however we needed to get a blanket from the front desk. The downstairs lobby was spotless, however the hallways were dirty and not vacuumed and all the glass on the hotel doors were dirty. The elevator was very, very dirty. I was really surprised at the condition of the pool and hot tub area was, considering this hotel is not that old. It truly looked like a pool from a hotel 20 years old. Tile was missing from a few places on the bottom of the wall and the paint was off on many places on the bottom and sides of both the pool and hot tub. The windows around the pool area to the outdoors were open and there were no screens in them. There were no towels available at the pool and there were beer and pop cans left everywhere along with food wrappers. The pool had a few flies in it along with debris and hair wrapped around my fingers more than once. I was surprised. The white paint around the pool was dirty, I doubt if it was ever cleaned. I visited the pool at 8:15 am and stayed until 10:00am when a man came in to add some type of chemical. Other than that no one from the staff was around. The exercise room was great. Other than my pool experience and the smaller room, I did enjoy myself and slept very well. The breakfast was fantastic, except the coffee I liked was empty. I probably would not stay at this hotel again just because of the size of the room and the pool experience, I am a swimmer. It is sad because I usually always use Marriott and have for many years. My check-in and check-out person was so nice and informative. A very pleasant lady. Not a horrible experience but just not what I expected for over 100 dollars a nite.

Was in town for a wedding. Staff was nice and the room was spacious with all the things we needed. Would stay again.

This hotel way exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. They were more than happy to provide anything we needed. Our bed was very comfortable. We booked a suite with the sofa bed that my mom used and she said even the sofa bed was very comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable stay. I've paid a lot more for rooms that were a lot less comfortable and accommodating!

This hotel/motel is very convenient. Location is super as to places to go and things to do. The neighborhood and surroundings seem to be friendly. I'd stay there again.....without doubt.

This was a nice hotel and the breakfast was great. We happened to stay on a Friday night and our room was next to the race track so it was noisy at times. We would definitely stay there again.

I found this to be the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff was very rude when I asked if he could ask the people above us to quiet down. Instead I was awake until 4:30 in the morning as they continued to party. I was then told the GM would contact me but a week later and two left messages I've been ignored.

This is a nice clean hotel for the price, but it is very far from downtown Toldeo. We didn't realize that it is right next to the Toledo speedway, luckily no races our weekend so it was quite. Andy, at the desk was very nice, but he was the only person working on what seemed to be a very busy day. The room was pretty and the bed was comfortable, but the room was either too hot or too cold. We couldn't just run the fan because of a mild burning smell, so it was either full-blast cold air or nothing. The shower pressure was GREAT! Breakfast was crowded, but the staff woman who was working the kitchen restocked and cleaned quickly and fielded a whole lot of unnecessary complaints with grace and politeness (that was not given to her in return). I would stay here again, just for how well she handled the abrasive guests.

The hotel was great.. Only thing I didnt like was how the bed slide every you get in or out.

Price was right & located right off the highway so easy to find. However the crying baby in the room next door woke all of us up, likewise the noisy plumbing from the room above. Still the breakfast was plentiful & staff very welcoming. Fine for a one night stay.

The hotel was well maintained. The pool and hot tub were a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Good but when a toilet became unusable we were told to get a plunger our self and take care of it. Also in the prosess the gentleman was rude about it.

Fairfield Inn & Suites was in a nice location and convenient to the interstate. There were many dining places located close to the hotel and within walking distance. The parking was plentiful even for a weekend stay and the staff was nice and ever so helpful. The room was clean and the bathroom stocked with clean towels, soap, shampoo, a blow dryer and a cofee pot. The beds were quite comfortable and the linens were clean. With the worry of bed bugs being spread by travelers it was nice see a spotless room. The free breakfast had many breakfast items to choose from, enough to please any appetite. The only thing I found wrong was that the noise level was a little high. At night you could hear people talking in the hallway and closing doors. The children were up and about rather early and in the pool before 9am which isnt really the hotel's fault. I could also hear people walking upstairs and other guests TV's. Over all though we had a very nice stay for one night and definitely would stay at another Fairfield Inn & Suites.

my stay was very good[...]
